Sky lays down in her den and she stays up, then she hears a lone wolf, which made her get on her paws. She walks out of her den, smelling the air, to see where the lone wolf was and she sees the lone wolf, then she looks at the wolf's legs, seeing them in bad shape. She shook her head as she walks into the snow and she keeps her distance from the lone wolf, just in case if it was gonna attack her, then her ears twitched again as she hears the crunch of the fresh snow.

Jinx was resting fitfully, and made the decision to go and patrol the perimeter of their territory. She listened for any intruders and sniffed for signs they may have left behind. The hunter did find a trace of a loner here and there, but she didn't find evidence of the other pack trespassing. A couple of loners were expected.
She broke into a trot as she headed back to the den, wanting to be sure her pups were safe. The fur along her back rose up as she picked up on the smell of a strange wolf. A growl rumbled in her throat and she bounded forward, seeing that her alpha had already found the loner. She moved to stand close to the alpha. Her fangs were bared, eyes narrowed as she glared at the loner. From her body language it was clear she had every intention of mauling or killing the loner. Jinx would not act rashly, waiting for a cue from her alpha.

She looked to the east and saw two wolves. One was snarling and showing its teeth thinking that I was a threat to them. The other wolf watched Taz's reaction. She moved backwards her ears down , she looked behind her seeing a way out. Whining she lowered her body as she moved trying to camouflage although they could see her.

She walks closer to the pup and she had a bit of food in her mouth, then she puts down the food on the ground, she knew that the loner needed to eat. She barks softly, telling the pup that she can come and her the food, since she wasn’t in a pack, then she knew that the pup was alone. She softly whimpers again after she puts down some raw meat before she heads back to her pack.

She started to head back to her, seeing if she wanted her to get more food for the lonely pup that was walking near a tree, where she rested.

Taz looked at the food she was eating. she nodded thinking that she would be able to get on a better health level then she would have if she didnt meet them. "please" she asked politely. looking around at the little insects on the floor she put her paw on one squishing it.

I can keep you safe since I’m an alpha of the pack” she said to the pup and she waited for an answer from her.

Taz looked up at her with a small smile. " if...if that would be okay?" she spoke quietly towards the alpha. she rubbed against her showing kindness and happiness that she would no longer be alone and lonely. her paws were dirty from the mud that was now turning hard. she whimpered as she saw the first snowflake fall onto her nose.

Jinx did her best to hide her displeasure when the alpha expressed kindness and generosity to the loner. The hunter thought they had enough mouths to feed, that they would be struggling enough. But it was ingrained in her to go along with the alpha. As foolish as she thought it was, she only glared at the newcomer. Jinx wouldn't be warming up to them so easily, and she'd be keeping an eye on this loner when her pups were around him.
She turned and began to head back to the den. Jinx hoped this newcomer would prove themselves useful, at least. Snorting to herself and shaking her head, the disgruntled wolf decided to put her trust in the alpha.

She nods as she started to lick the pup clean and she gently picks up the pup with her muzzle. She started to carry the pup to the den and she puts Taz in her own den, then she keeps her close to her warm fur.

They took Taz into a den and laid down close to her keeping her warm. Taz slowly drifted to sleep knowing she was safe and didn't have to worry about threats, she was warm and cosy snuggled up to the alpha wolf who allowed her to stay.

Her pups, having been biased by Jinx's teachings, were also giving the newcomer the cold shoulder. Jinx carried on with her usual routine of hunting, patrolling and caring for her pups. The wolf told herself that her alpha had her reasons.
