Xiana watched the whole incident, emotionless. A thought ran across Xiana's mind. She opened her mouth to share it but instead kept her thought to herself. "Just where the hell are we..."

Markal could feel the tension of the elf on his back. He shifted back into his human form, moving a hand to support Elra onto the ground as soon as he had a hand. "Are you alright?" The question was both for Elra and Narita. That bleeding orb had been creepy.

Rita nodded to them, though she was scared. "I-I-I don't know what happened at all..." she said, shuddering. "I'm o-okay, but...why...why did that happen? Who's voice was that? Di-Did they...die?" she asked, looking up at the others. Horror filled her expression.

Elra found himself being put to the ground and looked up at Markal, then to Rita. "I... I think they did, but they did it to themself." He said with horror visible in his expression. "What kind of place is this?" He said looking around as nightfall seemed to bathe the land in darkness.

((are you guys on RPN?)) Since Xiana basically lived alone her whole life, she doesn't know what to do when someone is scared. She tries to comfort Rita and Elra by patting them on the head. "Hey don't worry" She tries her best to comfort them but isn't that good at it.

Markal looked in the direction of the town. "We should probably head over to the town. The people there might have answers and it'll be safer once we're there. We," He nodded his head in Elemeno's direction at this point, "will be able to protect you guys if something more dangerous pops out."

Rita nodded to Elra, trying to shake the horrific image from her mind as Xiana patted her hand. "Th-Thank you. I-It's okay, Xiana..." She turned to Markal. "Y-Yeah. I think we...better get away from here..." she said. She reached to take Elra's hand.

Elra looks up at Xiana and gulps before nodding his head. "I... I'll try." He said in response to her attempt to comfort them.

Elra looked to Markal and nodded his head. "Yeah, maybe I can find my parents there too, that orb makes me really worried." He said before shaking his head, they couldn't be dead, he hoped they weren't.

Elra looked to his hand as Narita took it and he'd look to her face, his ears wiggling as he did so. "yeah, let's get out of this scary place." He said as he awaited Rita's next move.

"Then it's settled. Let's hurry to town" She looks up to the sky "It's getting dark"

Markal shifts back to his tiger form, where his hearing and sight is better. He goes to take the lead, walking towards the town and swiveling his ears to catch sound. He makes sure not to get too far ahead of them though.

Rita nodded to the group and smiled. She looked to Elra. "Yeah. Maybe we can find our families there..." She only hoped nothing had happened to them already. For now, she formed tiny balls of flame around herself and her newfound companions. If nothing else, it could serve as a light to guide them.

(It seems I've been left behind... Where is everyone?)

Elra nodded to Xiana. "Yeah, I don't want to be in the dark, it's probably even scarier." He'd then look to Markal. "Let us know if you see anything scary okay?"

Looking to Rita he'd nod. "I hope, I wouldn't know where else to look. Please be okay, mom dad and sis." he said quietly as he looked to the balls of flame. "That helps a little, thanks Rita." He said smiling at her, it was nice that someone his age was around, he'd have felt scared only around adults.

El watched the whole series of events quietly, and his theory of being dead was only strengthened."I agree. We should go into the city," he finally chimed in, "Let's be on our way."
