Looking to Rita he'd nod. "I hope, I wouldn't know where else to look. Please be okay, mom dad and sis." he said quietly as he looked to the balls of flame. "That helps a little, thanks Rita." He said smiling at her, it was nice that someone his age was around, he'd have felt scared only around adults.

El watched the whole series of events quietly, and his theory of being dead was only strengthened."I agree. We should go into the city," he finally chimed in, "Let's be on our way."

Rita nodded to the others and smiled. She reached for Elemeno's hand with the one that was still free. "Yeah. I bet it'll be nice when we get there. I'm sure we'll find our families somewhere. I bet they got lost too and went there. Maybe they're looking for us." She looked to Elemeno. "What do you think, Ely?"
Xiana starts walking down the path in the direction of the city. Hearing Rita and Elra's hopeful talk about seeing they're families feels like a stab in the heart. She wishes she had a family to give her hope herself, but since she doesn't, she knows that the chance of these two even seeing they're families is slim.
Elra looked to Rita with a smile, he had so much hope that he'd be able to find his family there. "Yeah, I'll bet my mom and dad and sister are all just waiting there for me, same for you Rita." He said before wiggling his ears. He'd look over to Xiana "What do you think?" He asked her curiously.
"Ely?" he laughed and gently squeezed her hand, "I... I still think we're dead. Unless I wasn't following and we've already agreed to that."
Rita smiled up at him. "Yup, Ely!" she said. At his comment, however, her smile diminished. The strangely eerie event with the orb seemed to point to him being right, yet...she didn't want to admit to it. "I don't want that. I want to see Mama and Papa and my brothers and sisters again..."
"I know..." he looked down, "I have an idea. Though. Wanna cuddle a wolfy? Maybe that'll make you feel better?"
Elra looked to Elemeno and raised a brow. "D-dead? no we can't be dead, I don't even remember dying." he said as he shook his head. "None of us do, so... well that can't be possible can it?" He asked everyone. "That orb doesn't mean anything, it was... was just something scary that's all." He said trying to convince himself that they were all still alive.
Elra's question takes her by surprise and she looks back at him with a long pause "I... I think you should hold onto your hope, kid..." Xiana just couldn't bring herself to say what she thought and crush they're hearts. Hearing El's comment about death again makes her start to believe it may be true.
Rita looked to Elra and frowned. "Le-Let's just keep looking. I'm sure we'll find some answers. Even if something happened to us, maybe we can go back." It was a faint hope and quite wishful thinking, but she couldn't imagine being without her family anymore. She turned to Elemeno. "A wolfy? Okay..." she said, smiling a little.
He smiled and began to change. He fell over onto all fours and his clothes sorta sunk into his body to be replaced by black fur with white speckles. His face elongated and two pointy ears grew out the top of his head. When he was done, the massive, magestic wolf rubbed his nose against Narita's belly then licks her cheek.
Elra looked to Xiana and nodded. "Yeah, that's what I'm doing right now, it's just that orb is just... it's really bugging me." He said before looking to Rita and simply nodding in response. "Yeah." He'd then look over to Elemeno and scratch his head. "A lot of shape shifters."
Xiana looks up at the sky again and sees it's gotten a lot darker. "Ok guys we should hurry. I don't like being left in the dark vulnerable" She hurries her pace a bit.
Rita smiled as he shifted to a wolf, once again bemused by another shapeshifter. She giggled and hugged the wolf's neck. However, she nodded to Xiana. "Okay!" She smiled and shifted back to her tiny fox-like form, hopping atop Elemeno.
"I'm a werewolf, not a shape shifter," El said and stayed close to Narita. He smiled when she turned into a fox, "I guess I really zoned out. I didn't know you could do that," El grinned at the tiny fox and started trotting forwards, moving to Xaria's side.
Elra nods and looks to the werewolf and scratches his head. "What's the difference?" He asks, the boy not actually even knowing what a werewolf was, he never did stray too far away from his parents' home.
Xiana's head snapped in El's direction. "You're a werewolf?" Suddenly she didn't trust him. She stopped walking and faced him "How do we know you won't kill us..?" she eyes him carefully trying to show no fear.
"Becuase we're probably already dead and werewolves don't just kill people," he rolled his eyes, "Besides, I'm friendly. Never killed a person even once," he smiled, his silver eyes gleaming proudly.
