Someone new has just moved into the neighborhood. The house is huge, mysterious, and its owner is worse. She is brash, overconfident, and you think she might be a vampire.
Y/C could be a creature hunter, or you could also play a creature (werewolf, witch, another vampire, etc) and they face a creature hunter together. If you would like to play the hunter, then they could slowly come to realize that creatures aren't so bad for a lovely enemies to friends trope. If you would like to play another creature, then they could work together to overcome the creature hunter that comes into play.

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Modern
Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
Romance isn't outright desired, but can happen if we decide the characters are perfect for each other. The romance won't be important to the overall plot.
Details: Freeform, adjustable length posts, long-term RP partner preferred. Will be played one-on-one.
