We decided to create an event that would run in our discord server as well as on here. This will function as an event that is open to all roleplayers, regardless of age and whether or not they are a group member. It is meant to bring some fun during the holiday season but also to introduce the setting we play in as well as our characters to other players and characters. Those that wish to can most certainly join our discord server too if they found the event enjoyable here. (Taking part in the event there is allowed too from the very beginning).
While our main roleplay is an apocalyptic modern setting, we decided to take the apocalyptic theme out of it for this particular event. There will be no zombies showing up during this event and characters will not be aware of the upcoming outbreak. Instead, this event can be seen as a prologue to the main story.

Skatepark Event
This event will start on 01 December 2020 and end on 31 December 2020.
There is no posting order here and the event is very hop-in, hop-out friendly. This means that characters can come and go as they please (similar to the trick-or-treat event on RPR).
Players can choose whether they want to participate sporadically and jump in a few days in the month, or be here the entire month long. Characters can take part in the different activities that go on during the event.
Small DM notes will be made to describe what time of the day it is and what is going on at the skatepark during that time. Feel free to use these notes as guidelines, but your characters are allowed to wander around freely.
While there is no posting order, please do allow for others to post and don't spam the thread constantly. Know that this event is family-friendly and that we expect for you to behave rather decently IC. If this isn't true to your character's nature, you can have them engage in small criminal activities but realize that your actions will have consequences.
Most of all, this thread exists to have fun and enjoy yourselves. And no, your character doesn't need to know how to skate in order to participate!
It is worth noting that this roleplay is tied to Etymology and it's group. Even though the event took place before the zombie outbreak in Clarey (No, your character may show no knowledge of the outbreak that will happen eventually), your characters actions and experience here as well as the connections they make will affect the main storyline. Whatever happens will become canon.

Small possibility of combat, usually brief and not detailed.
Some romance is possible, but the overall plot is more important.
Details: Freeform, adjustable length posts, one-off scene. Will be played with a large group of players.
