The Gold Devil, she was called: and a devil she was on the open seas, with a crew of cutthroats and thieves, warriors and the wicked. All of whom turned to the direction of a famed pirate captain with a family history of sailing and generally devious behavior. Smuggling was only one of the pots this crew had their hands in, and they took their work very seriously.
Which would be incredibly sad for you, as for one reason or another, you’d find yourself tucked away below deck, among the rare spices and goods, on a ship with a captain known for being socially inept- and bitterly ruthless in the same stroke.
Perhaps you’ll curry favor with the foreign man, or perhaps things will go incredibly wrong the moment you’re found out; either way, it’s a long journey, and unless you’d like to find yourself at the bottom of the Atlantic, you’d have to find a way to play nice with the pirates until the destination is reached.
Open to a variety of roles and characters, this is meant to be a 1 on 1 RP; I’m sick as of right now and stuck in bed, and in the same turn am easily exhausted and can’t really handle too much. I can promise one reply a day at best, so if that’s alright with you, the plot is flexible and the position is unfilled! Feel free to comment or PM, and if you’ve got questions about just how flexible the plot is don’t hesitate to ask.
Romance is not required at all, but if your interested, good luck. Tyr is about as good with people as Caesar was popular among his friends.

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Renaissance
Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
Some romance is possible, but the overall plot is more important.
