You could be the mage or someone who works in Avery's shop or the prince that is supposed to marry Sapphire!

The kingdom of Leameth was a prosperous one. There weren’t people out on the streets begging, everytown had money going in and out and at least two nobles living in one town. They were on good terms with all the surrounding kingdoms and didn't have conflict with anyone, they were the neutral zone like Sweden. The funny thing about Leameth was how it was runned. Each ruler had a set of twin girls, one was born to rule and the other was born to be a commoner.

Each princess was a princess until they turned 16. Avery and Sapphire were completely opposites and it seemed that they may have picked the wrong girl to become queen. Sapphire was more of a wild child, she would stay out late, not really care for her studies, pull every guard and servant into her room nightly. Sapphire's hair was Blonde and she had blue eyes, the telltale signs that she was to be the one to rule and she was named after a gem like every ruler before her. Even though Avery's hair was brown and her eyes were green and she knew she would be living in the village soon she learned everything she could up until they separated the two girls and Avery became her sister's hand maiden.

When they turned 18 things turned for the worse. Sapphire had contracted a strange illness, sure the girl could still rule but they had to think of a plan for when she wasn't feeling well and needed to see an audience like today. Avery had moved out just a month before turning 18 so when she was called back to the castle she wondered why. Twins usually stop going to the castle once the commoner moves out. Yet she still went seeing how it was the king's orders and he had sent the whole gaurd for her, she really didn’t have a choice.

The king's staff had come up with a plan, Avery knew everything there was to know due to this fact, when Sapphire wasn't feeling well, Avery would step in. They couldn't get over the fact that Avery's eyes were different as well as her hair color, they were trying to figure out what to do about that. One of the advisors suggested covering Avery's face with a thin cloth, Sapphire would have to wear the same thing when she was feeling better.

Avey thought all of this was ridiculous, she had already opened her gem and book shop in town. Why did she have to come back just because the soon to be queen landed ill? She was up in one of the tea rooms having her hair put into curls and getting put into one of Sapphire's dresses. She had to let out a small laugh as the maids told her to suck in her stomach, Sapphire was always thinking about her ideal weight. Avery's weight fluctuate so she was never the same size as her sister, a couple of inches more or less depending.

The advisors had come up with a better solution than having Avery wear a thin cloth. They'd hire a magician from the far north to come and change the girl's eye and hair colors. Avery was looking over a book that they had in this tea room, she heard a knock on the door and sighed a bit. “Come in.” She told whoever was at the door. She saw the advisor walk in and sighed a bit, what she didn’t expect was to see someone who she hadn’t seen in years walk in after the advisor. She could be wrong about the person. The only thing she was going off of was the hair color and the person’s eyes. She thought the person that was in front of her was an old friend that both her and Sapphire used to play with.

They both had changed significantly since she last saw the person who walked in with the advisor. Avery’s baby face hadn’t faded until she turned fifteen and it had been years since she last saw this person. Avery has a diamond face, her high cheekbones and a pointed chin gives the feeling that she should have been the future ruler. Her nose is pointed, angled lips and her brown eyes are wide. She has long arms, a wiry torso with modest breasts with a typical waist, and long legs.

She heard the advisor tell her this man was here to change her eye and hair color. "Oh…then it couldn't be him..." she said softly, the curiosity on her face disappearing. "Fine" she sighed out as if she really had a choice?

I'm interested in possibly being someone who works in the shop or the mage
