Esme nodded knowingly now that she finally figured out the strange numbers. “Oh, it’s like a damage counter. Or the reverse of that, I suppose.” She finished off the last of her beer, set the cup down on the counter, and added, “Like in a combat sim.”

“Hm. I could go for another drink. A stronger one.” This was a lot of socializing for her. Very tiring.

"Strength of alcoholic fluid consumed is generally not of relevance to me, due to biological purgation filters."

Sue felt a little mischievous. "Why don't we take those babies out and see what happens~" then she put a finger on chin. "Unless they're just in your body. Hehe. Girl just wants to partay~"
“Vodka’s not a bad idea. I was thinking vodka and fireball, myself.” Esme leaned back in her seat and rubbed her eye.

“Do you have any other means of experiencing inebriation?” She asked Harkoth. She was quite curious. “I have an implant in my leg; it’s meant for distributing painkillers but I’ll throw intoxicants in there when I’m too busy for a drink. So, more often than not.”

"I have no means of experiencing inebriation, and I do not wish to. It is an uncomfortable sensation that is, like many things, a reminder of the weakness of flesh."
"Aw man i hear that. Well we all gonna die man weakness ain't a crime." Sue vibes.
She shrugs. “Fair enough. Once I’m rid of this gods-forsaken leg maybe I’ll finally give up the drinking myself. Course, my son’s been telling me to stop for years. It’s not his place. He doesn’t like when I give myself new implants either.” Esme scoffs. “Kids these days.”

Sue’s comment gives her pause, and then actually makes her laugh. “I don’t intend on dying, myself.”

"Your kind cling to your flesh, as if it will not decay and fail you. One day the crude biomass that you call a temple will wither, and you will beg my kind to save you. But I am already saved, for the Machine is immortal."
"That was....needlessly mean"

"It is the truth."
Sue looks at the tech wizard a bit seriously, though still smiling. She notices Mathias.

"Only God can save a soul from that kinda thing, if you believe in that. Ayyy Mathi, can i ask ye for a vodka martini?" she giggles.
"It's cute that you think any God would want to save anyone."
Sue looks at Lappland while her daughter Sue bot sneaks up on them, and goes, "Hehe, mommy is pretty cute!" while Sue covers her mouth.
"Ah, ma tutti devono avere una qualche forma di speranza, non è vero?" (Ah, but everyone has to have some form of hope, don't they?)

"From the power of the Machine God, the Omnissiah, and the Motive Force."
"Hehe, maybe I'll come for help when i lose something and i need a replacement~" Sue chirped. "Just got a different path to immortality if ya know what i mean."

Sue bot's eyes were spinning. "What language is that? It's pretty!"
"Mi sorrella is speaking Italian"

He brought Sue a dry martini

"In the name of Sanguinus..." he sighed
"Yaaaay! You're such a sweetheart Mathi~" Sue sipped her martini joyfully.

"I admire your dedication to your craft. With a little work, you'll be a fine Tech-Adept."
He burst through the door and dropped off his bolter and axe "a fine place, Brother-Captain Aphael!"
