Nick wouldn't exactly be sad to see her go. He started heading back to the truck, lopping a few heads off along the way. An unusual amount of walkers were starting to accumulate in their area; he hated being right about things like this.
A swing here, a chop there, the blade singing as it sliced through the air and the rotting corpses of the undead. "Damn, there's a lot of 'em... Dunno why you fired the gun. Waste of a bullet." He stopped next to the truck, waiting for Matt to fill it up and guarding him until then.
His survival instincts had kicked in, thus why he was starting to get snarky. Sure, he was rude, but he was ruder than normal when he felt like he was cornered and needed to fight. Just one of his annoying personality quirks.

swinging her whip making a cirlcle around her keeping her protected as she whipped off this head and that she had never gotten this many when her whip got stuck "crap!" they kept coming she pulled her daggers but there were to many but she was keeping them off (i like to keep it realistic my whip is 6ft and there are alot of cars lol) doing a back flip her whip jigged loose she was back on a killing spree
((Yeah flipping around like a monkey and severing head by head off with a whip is absolutely realistic. In reality if your character had such confidence she would be relaxed and start getting tired, she wouldn't be fueled by adrenaline. Even with extreme expertise, doing that many flips in under a minute with a whip it would take an absolute miracle for it not to either slice you or get tangled around you. If were attempting to make it realistic, you need to take that kind of stuff in mind. Oh, and may I join?

((You are perfectly fine Misty, you just have to keep realistic matters in mind for a realistic role play. If you need help with this you can always PM me, but I hate to see an RP'er that actually tries their best leave an Rp because they aren't good enough. My guess is that you are younger, and fairly new, am I correct?))

Vector brought his team around the corner if a building in spotted three people fighting near a car. One fired a bullet straight into the air. "What a waste if a bullet." He mumbled to himself." He approached them rifle held high. He peered down the red dot sight aimed at the group. "Stand by." Vector spoke into the walkie-talkie strapped to his shoulder. Dead starting attracting to the sound made from the pistol. "Crap." Undead surrounded him on all sided, he held his Bowie knife in a defensive position. He severed a few heads and ligaments before clearing a path for his men. He featured then over then pointed toward the group. They all nodded, slowly advancing. "Halt." Vector spoke with extreme confidence, but had very little, he had just turned lieutenant a few weeks ago. "Drop the gun." He kicked away some undead, and also impaled some front the bayonet on the end if his rifle.

Matt turned the gun to him. "You'll have to tell me who you are, first."
He only tightened the grip on his rifle. He glanced over to his men to see if they had a good sight on the man with the pistol. The returned confirmation with a nod. He nodded in return. "Vector Maithon of the US military." He rested his finger on the trigger. "And you are?" He was becoming suspicious of this little get together. How would they not be able to tell from his uniform he was not in some form of the military? At least they haven't noticed his team yet. They were hidden relatively well.
"Matthew Da Vinci, I immigrated here from Italy three months ago." He replied, slowly lowering his pistol.
(Just a warning, guys, I probably won't be able to reply much today or tomorrow since I'll be at a tournament and stuff. I'll be back on Friday.)

They all had guns and they all seemed somewhat hostile, so if he was ever going to ditch, now would be the time.
But that guy said he was from the military... True, sometimes the military did more harm than good, but that was enough to draw Nick's attention and make him stay a little longer. He wanted to know what was going on and if the military had any sort of grasp on the situation at all; that would influence his next moves.
He stayed silent, like a wary shadow, and just watched, although he was ready to bolt if things went south.

"Nice to meet you." He said calmly slowly letting his muscles relax. "Does your group have any intel on the 'Infestation'?" He brought his gun down, but still had it aimed on the man with the pistol. The 9 millimeters in his tactical vest were locked and loaded if he ever didn't have time to reload his rifle. The grenades around his belt looked nothing normal. They were sleek black metal with a red skull on the front. He was also armed with a machete strapped tightly to his back sheathed in hard brown leather. He gestured for his team of four to come to his side. "This is team Charlie." He nodded at each one. "We are part of the search and destroy team. But at the moment we are positioned as reconnaissance."
"We know nothing. From what I've seen, they don't feel pain, and the only way to actually kill them is a wound to the brain." He replied, putting the gun in his side holster.

Nick shifted back on his heels in a slightly more relaxed position, although he was still rather tense and ready to flee or fight as needed. At the question of intel, there was a moment's pause before he spoke up.
"I think it has somethin' to do with the whole bug floatin' around," he voiced, an eyebrow raised slightly. "You know, how people are gettin' a fever and then dying of it maybe... Seven times out of ten? Somethin' like that."
If asked how he knew, he'd answer truthfully, but hopefully they wouldn't. He really wanted to forget that part, as it'd only slow him down, and he needed to be as fast as possible in this new world.
"I think it has somethin' to do with the whole bug floatin' around," he voiced, an eyebrow raised slightly. "You know, how people are gettin' a fever and then dying of it maybe... Seven times out of ten? Somethin' like that."
