Andrew's paws made barely a sound as he walked through the forests. He had a composite bow pulled back only slightly and an arrow readied. There was a quiver on his back with more arrows in it and he was crouched down as he walked, one paw right in front of the other.
The wolf-boy's ears twitched as he heard a sound and he whirled around, facing it and drawing the arrow back as far as it could be. He sniffed the air and quickly determined the maker of the noise was not a deer but a human.
"Show yourself!" he said and aimed the weapon, "Hands in he air!"

(Sure, but there's some context you should know. There was a world wide blackout do nothing works. If you've seen the show Revolution, it's like that. Absolutely nothing that used electricity works. No electric guns, phones, cars, planes. Bolt action rifles and anything WWII and before considering guns works)
Yumi pops out at the boy yellings at him saying."Put the weapon down or ill kill you!"
The wolf boy moved extrmemely fast and before she finished her sentence, there was an arrow sticking out of her shoulder and there was already another aimed at her, "Don't threaten me," he growled, his lips curled up in an aggressive snarl.
The girl lowers her bow, asking the weird creature "What are you and what are you doing in these parts?"
"What? Never seen an anthro before? You must not get out much," he didn't lower his weapon, "I'm Andrew. I live nearby and I'm just hunting for my village," he said, "How about you?" he relaxed the bow and put the arrow in it's quiver then grabbed her right wrist and looked at it, "Well, you're not with the Militia," he said upon seeing that the trademark brand was not burnt onto her wrist, "What's your name and why are you here?" he asked and forced her to sit down then he knelt down next to her and examined the arrow he had put through her shoulder.
"The head is stuck. You'll need to come back to get it removed," he said and snapped the arrow shaft then helped her up.

It wasn't long before they came to some high wooden walls. Within them was a small neighborhood with about 30 houses and two coldesacks.
He led her to one home that had a red cross painted on the door and had a white carriage with a red cross painted on it in the drive way.

"Oh, Andrew. Did you get hurt again?" she asked then noticed Yumi's shoulder was bleeding and she stood, "Oh my... What happened?"
"She jumped out at me while I was hunting, yelling and screaming for me to drop my bow like an idiot and she had a bow pointed at my face, so I shot her in the shoulder," he explained, "The head is stuck in her shoulder."
"Alright, sit down," the feline said to Yumi, pointing at a stretcher.
