Hello there! I've yet to get my ranger, Nessa, involved in an RP, so I thought what better plot to start her off with than one she's going to struggle with a fair amount.
I'm so mean to her.
My idea is, the RP itself will take place in an area (let's say the Savage Frontier of Faerûn for those familiar with the forgotten realms setting. For those that aren't, don't worry just keep reading) outwith the reigns of any large cities, and only some small rural towns exist here, made up (mostly) of humans.
The rest of this land is a tangled mass of forest and hills, some forests of which are so dense and large that little is known about what lies within them. When one such town, however, begins to get assaulted without any forewarning other than a mysteriously ominous mist by the undead, both our characters end up being drawn to the town by one means or another (by good will, or promise of reward... etcetera) to help.
They both have to band together to be rid of the source of the undead which remains a mystery (necromancer, disturbed magical artefact in a long forgotten crypt, I don't know), and venture into the looking forests to put an end to the horde before it becomes a danger to the entire region.
I'm entirely open to editing the plot a little, just let me know. I do have a couple of requests however:
- Your character must be able to fit into a fantasy setting; no sci-fi, no modern day, no furries.
- The RP must be third person narrative.
- Probably no romance. It's hard to be romantic anyway when you're in a boggy forest with skeletons and whatever else trying to decapitate you both.
- A paragraph plus per post is preferable; I don't mind quality over quantity, but I don't like single sentenced replies. To get a feel for how I write, you can check out another RP I have currently here.
- Forums > PM, but if you prefer to RP over PM I don't mind.
- I don't mind mistakes, but please do at least spell & grammar check! I make mistakes too, but I try not to.
- And finally, if you grow tired of the RP, please do let me know. It upsets me when someone vanishes never to be heard of again and leaves me hanging.
Haha so I'm not offended at all if you'd rather another partner, but I haven't really gotten Alia started on anything here and she'd fit well into that. But I totally understand if you want a new partner 
I'd be up for it! Sounds like this could turn out to be an interesting story!
I'd be interested. I could offer up a few characters like Abelith and Pezvahk which were made specifically for fantasy settings, but I'd also liek to offer Xeres, who can be modified for the setting to be liek a golem or an atronach or something liek that.
Ooh, Valder sounds like a fun character to RP alongside; that could be an interesting dynamic. 
Do you have any preference on how long we make the RP itself, or are you happy enough just going with it and seeing how it turns out?

Though I am a fan of talking generally how the storyline ought to progress just so we don't dwindle too far from it, I don't like going into details. You've already given an apt description of the general tale so I say we can just see where it takes us. If something drastic happens we can always talk it out, though I don't suspect that happening any time soon.
