Looking to run a homebrew session as a trial before bringing it to my players. It's a level 1 campaign. We'll be using either d&d beyond, or orcpub. Uhh, we'll do 4d6 drop the lowest for our stats. If it's successful and everyone is interested I'll consider doing something full time on here. Any questions, ask away ^^

Any chance of using Pathfinder? It's really the only thing I know.

Unfortunately, I don't really know Pathfinder at all. I know that it fixes a few things from 3.5 but outside of that I've got zero experience dming it.

3.5 is essentially Pathfinder, though there are differing opinions on what was "fixed". There only a few differences and you can play Pathfinder classes within a 3.5 game and vice versa, with little to no conversion needed.

Long story short, if you know Pathfinder, you know 3.5. They are the same game, but one of them is much more savvy in terms of marketing and one has moved on to more accessible roleplaying.

I have been wanting to roll more dice and will gladly help you with your trial run, by providing a party member!

Though Orcpub and D&D Beyond seem to be geared towards 5e D&D. Which would be a very different game.

Pathfinder is a Fixed Version of 3.5 Edition D&D and Pathfinder Unchained Fixes every important Pathfinder Flaw Except the fact they nerf the barbarian. i'd probably say Dreamscarred Presses Psionics and Path of War Lines are fairly balanced for Pathfinder because they recycle 3.5 edition Psionics and Tome of Battle. Pathfinder versions of classes are compatible with 3.5 modules though i'd recommend the Pathfinder core classes over thier 3.5 Counterparts and the Pathfinder unchained counerparts over the Originals with Dreamsarred Press replacing Psionics and Book of 9 Swords.
