To be honest, it was a slow start when I first joined awhile back. I made a couple of characters, attempted some RPs, but they either didn’t go in the direction I wanted, or it just kind of fell through.

It was a bit disheartening and I decided to take a break. I came back several months later, really just on a whim, and eventually found what I was looking for. It has been a thrill as an RPer, and as someone who just loves to write, as I’ve been flying in a creative whirlwind within these past two months like never before.

It personally means a lot because it allows me to communicate with people in a way I couldn’t otherwise in RL. I’m in a weird space where I’ve grown distant with friends and family, people I’ve known for my entire life. RPing here has really helped fill a void for me and I can’t thank my fellow RPers enough.

I also appreciate what this site and its members do for those going through hard times. It’s truly a community to be proud of.

So, for those who are having trouble looking for the right RPs, just keep at it! When you eventually find what you’re looking for, you’ll realize it’ll be worth the wait.

I found this site from another forum. I am a big sims addict and I found a thread on a sims forum I am on that was role playing. I found myself with a torrent of ideas of how to jump into it, followed by the disappointing realization that I was being far too thorough for what I was looking at. Then came the flood of memories and before I even realized what was happening I was on Google searching for an rp forum, and here it was.

Roleplay repository...I have been here a few short weeks but I can easily see myself here for years. This is such a great community and a great thread you have made dhalsim to simply say, thank you rpr, thank you mods/admin, and thank you community for being here.

Long live rpr 💪💪💪💪

I am glad to meet someone like you, Dhalism. Your writing inspires me.

That patience is definitely key to finding a great roleplay wherever you go, for sure! But it more than pays off in a community like this!

Awwww. Yeah that's how I first felt when I found somebody that does the hurt/comfort genre, and my first two people who I hit a home run with on developing emotionally rewarding, lengthy RPs. And so many other cool people appeared a bit later.

Same here buddy! I’ve jumped between several different sites and it’s just different here. It took me awhile to see just how, but I’m glad I stuck with this place! Also, can’t wait to run the Grid with you!

Likewise my friend! You inspired me to push out that content with all that you’ve set. I won’t lie, it was very intimidating lol. Thank you again for seeking me out. Let’s keep pushing each other to keep doing our best!

You are so right. I’m sure I could’ve found something at the other places had I reached out a little more, but like you said, it definitely paid off the most doing it here.

It makes me happy to know others like yourself eventually found what you mentioned. Those are goals that were always difficult for me to strive for because sometimes things just happen. But it seems like the kind of fun and mutual respect and even OOC interaction was always missing or very superficial in my previous experiences elsewhere. Even if I don’t reach crazy lengths in RPing I’m happy to keep doing it here.

Thanks to RPR I've improved my freindship and writing skills. My vocalbury has improved immensely. Plus I've met made such beautiful and wonderful freinds I cherish so much❤❤.

That's awesome! I made some RP friends whose first languages are other than English, and it has helped them immensely improve their understanding of English!
