I've gotten a few questions from frazzled folks feeling like they have to wake up in the middle of the night to take care of their pet rocks, so I just wanted to put out a reminder that you can put some or all of your pets into the "pet hotel" at any time, which will freeze their needs and well-being. There is no time limit to keeping them in the hotel, there is no cost, and there is no cap for how many times you can do this. You can check your pets in to the hotel for the entirety of spring break while your family goes on its annual road trip, or you can check your pets into the hotel for two hours while you're taking a nap.I promise I won't be filling up the news constantly with stuff about pet rocks, but I did want to spotlight this feature since the entire ability to have and care for pets is a new fun side thing on the site, and I thought this reminder would reduce stress and increase enjoyment for some of you.
You can put ALL your pets into the hotel with one click from your Pet Settings, like so:
Have your combat walrus topped up to 100% and want to freeze her there for Epic Week? Have too many pets in your collection and only want to actually be responsible for caring for one? Click the individual "Pet Settings" icon in the top right of the pet care simulator window to open the individual pet setting window.
Swap the "In hotel" toggle to "Yes", then save your changes. Their needs and wellbeing score will be frozen exactly as they were when they checked in. Check them out again at any time.

The 5 basic rock types (Flat Pet Rock, Lumpy Pet Rock, Mossy Pet Rock, Pet Amethyst Geode and Pet Tiger's Eye) have identical drop chances, both in the free pull and in boxes of rocks. No basic pet rock is more rare or common than any other.
When pulling from a box of rocks, there is a 20% (or 1 in 5) chance that whatever rock type you pull will be transformed into its special variant variety. No variant pet rock is more rare or common than any other variant.
Will my pet rocks help me during Epic Week?
Sorry, but pet rocks are non-combatant pets. Throwing your pet rocks at monsters might be pet rock cruelty!

Does anyone know what these dots under my pet rock mean? Ive never played any games similar to walragotchi before and was wondering if anyone knew what they meant?

@Queen_Knight I didn't have plans for rock battle in future, but who knows -- I also didn't have plans to add a walragotchi and pet rocks to the site when the year opened, either, and here we are.
