Just read your character's bio, and he seems really fun! I love that he’s the type I’d want to mess with (no offense intended) just to see his reactions. Like, I could purposely say modern games are cooler than retro ones, and all his friends would panic like, “NO! Don’t say that!” But it’s too late, I’ve said it. Then Tetris would start chattering about retro games for hours, and everyone else would groan. Comedy, snark, and just… very real.

Sooo... Imagine a typical futuristic world where AI is everywhere--humans (or furries/anthropomorphs) and androids living side by side. Maybe Tetris stumbles upon an abandoned android while scavenging for retro games, accidentally activates it, and now the android follows him everywhere like a baby chick. Could be hilarious!
The story could revolve around their adventures and growing bond or unexpected friendship through a futuristic, slightly dystopian city in search of Tetris’s interests--all things retro--while the android unexpectedly learns what it means to feel human by observing Tetris and his hobbies.
It could be fun, adventurous, action-packed, and even a little dramatic if you want. What do you think? You can also take this idea and play it with anyone. I hope it helps.

Hm... That could be fun, maybe. But idk exactly where it'd go.
Could go anywhere! You'll never know until your hands are flying across the keyboard and you're saying to yourself, "Wait, I thought my character liked girls? Oh well, who cares."
I guess. But I prefer to have a sort of "end goal" for the rps I do. A lot of my rps have goals like "get to this city to stop the evil guy" or "wait until a person someone else mentioned arrives while hiding from another person". I don't like the idea of an RP without much of a direction.
If you have no story term goals, write down 3-5 short and long term aspiriations for each character involved you control, then have them work towards that. Anything from "Buy a sandwich at a market", "Say the word 'Inconcievable'" or "Take down the mob boss of the ward I'm in and clear out of this town" are acceptable. I love the way they do it in Chronicles of Darkness TTRPG specifically, where you get experience points for planning and performing those aspiration tasks

What kind of sci-fy is probably the better question. Are we talking about something with space ships and laser guns, cyberpunk, or something else?
Reading Tetris, it seems like maybe a good starting plot is a "Lost in Hyperspace" plot. Gets sucked into a video game he hates and has to learn it better than he ever did to survive it. Plus, video games have great endgoals! They usually have a win condition, or at least they are built towards something.
