From the Greek word meaning "glory," a kudos is acclaim for exceptional achievement or qualities.
On the RP repository, receiving a kudos means that another community member recommends you as someone other people might like to get to know. Perhaps because you are exceptionally fun to RP with, exceptionally fun to know, or are just plain exceptional!

It feels like a broken record to call another Sunbird member inviting, but honestly? It's not my fault that she's so warm and wonderful and makes it feel like home! Oh, this lady here is one of my favourite people. I've been rping with her for years and my only regret is that we don't always get to rp as much as I'd like. She has got to be one of the most patient people I know though. Despite any breaks I've gone on or hiatuses away from fruc she's always there when I get back and always with the same wonderful kindness. TickTockz is first and foremost a wonderful friend. Dependable, she's always an IM away and always responds. She's always there when I need someone to listen and she's always incredibly supportive and a great listener. Creativity wise, she's incredibly talented. This darling is a wonder and a delight. She's gold-hearted with a knack for the interesting and creative. Her characters ooze with exotic flavors and are so naturally and truthfully played that I find myself ensnared, again and again. So glad to have found this little gem again, and to be back in the game with her. Cue all the things, and all the plots.

You know what. I've known this wonderfully creative woman for a couple of years now and I have never once given her kudos. I think it is time to change that.
