From the Greek word meaning "glory," a kudos is acclaim for exceptional achievement or qualities.
On the RP repository, receiving a kudos means that another community member recommends you as someone other people might like to get to know. Perhaps because you are exceptionally fun to RP with, exceptionally fun to know, or are just plain exceptional!

Ames. The world's best and only dandy wasp prince from outer space, as far as I'm concerned. Writing with them is an adventure every time, I've yet to meet another player so willing to explore comedy in a plot; Too often everything is gloom, doom, and Shakespearean drama and Ames just flips that all on its head and provides instead scenes that leave you with a grin, feeling about a decade younger and excited for the next scene. - honey-and-iron

On a more serious note, however, this character is truly a delight. He is unrepentantly diabolical, and strangely charming for it.
