So I noticed that there was a journal with a certain forbidden word on it. I decided to go ahead and check to see what happened I threw the filters on and then cleared my cache.

I could still see it. While this doesn't bother me any, I know that we have some members who might see it. I'm personally not big on censoring on a personal page, but maybe there is something we could do to stop it from showing up on the dash? I'm not sure what could be done, but it should be addressed as it is a problem for some people!

Naughty word in here!

Also, I am not trying to call this person out, hopefully they're not upset with me!

Ooh, this is definitely an issue! I think the easiest way to do this is by checking journal titles for swear words and replacing them will full asterisks (like "**** it") if someone has the bad language filter on, but showing the full title if they don't. I don't know how easy this would be coding wise, but it seems like the most user friendly option on the viewer's end to me.

Huh, interesting. Yes, the only think I can think is a blacklist that stars words in journal titles for people who haven't declared being comfortable with strong language.
