I was wondering if it would be possible to add in a sort of table function or widget for groups and character pages. (to make a small or big table like you would in excel or word)
It'd make it very easy to make neat rows of information, I've seen people already use the Always/Never chart in character pages to achieve the same result, and I have done the same in the past. (sadly however these are not present in the group widgets either)
I know columns can be used for this but they're a bit awkward to use and I always get the problem that the different columns stick to one-another instead of leaving some space between.

Columns actually are tables! There's currently no way to format them outside of using CSS through a custom template/group epicness, and from what Kim has posted before there are no plans on elaborating them because they are pretty complex already. (She initially didn't even want to add them to the BBCode list because of how many questions people have about them.)

As you can see I removed the dash from one to see if it might act up because of it, but then the text just sticks together all the same. The parts below where it seems to work I just added a bunch of text coloured the same as the background.
Oooh, it looks like the padding was left off of group columns. I transplanted the basic, minimum spacing that's also used for character templates and the site at large to groups. You may need to refresh to see the updates. Thank you for catching that!
