Ake pressed his back against the wall. The hospital is more complicated to navigate than he'd thought. It's only been 15 hours since the emergancy broadcast ended. people are either hidden away or running for the hills.
Why is Ake in the heart of the city? If any zombie movie taught him anything, medicine should come in handy. He didn't take into account the fact that the hospital would be ransacked.

It could be a newly infected. He took a deep breath and tried once more, placing a hand on the handle once more.

When Ake opened the door to the medicine storage he was greeted by the business end of a shotgun, the rest of the surprisingly short weapon and a blonde woman with a small partially filled bag of medications hanging from her mouth. Frozen still for several moments, she realizes that the person in front of her was not one of the afflicted. Lowering her weapon she takes the bag from her mouth, quickly and quietly saying "Hurry get in here before anyone sees you! I thought you where one of the sick ones. Keep an eye on the door and I'll get you a bag as well."
Without a second thought she then turns back to the medicine, selectively picking and choosing each with practiced movement. As she did so she could be heard muttering to herself "I almost just shot a Kid. Get a grip Hollie. Things are bad but that doesn't mean you have to resort to violence...but really...a kid. Have to get him some antibiotics, light pain relievers...." she looks over "I-I'm sorry about the shotgun...do you know if you are allergic to any medication?"
Without a second thought she then turns back to the medicine, selectively picking and choosing each with practiced movement. Miko stumbled down alleyways and backstreets trying not to make a sound that may draw in any infected, he hesitated on scratching his wounds which were bound to get worse sooner or later if he didn't find any disinfectant especially for the eye he no longer has. He had an old black tshirt a little small for him and held over his left eye eventually wrapping his head in it only showing a portion of the right side of his face, once he laid eyes on what appeared to be a hospital he gripped his pistol however didnt draw it and went to walk inside.
Once inside he walked slowly and carefully hardly able to hear the footsteps he was making, and started making his way to each room hoping to find something. Eventually he entered what looked to be a patient room and felt a sudden sharp pain in his eye as if a barbed needle were being pulled from it slowly, the pain angered him after a few seconds and made him throw a chair out of the room knocking over several others in the process.
After hearing the noise he made he quickly froze still with his gun and knife drawn ignoring the pain and listened for any sound that may indicate someone or something heard it. He heard a loud screech from down the hall and clenched his teeth why cant anything just be easy for once?

Ake already had his tomahawk raised over his head but the fear that struck him as he stared down the barrel of Holly's shotgun made him freeze up "hooooly moly, that's a big barrel for a tiny shotgun" he said just above a whisper.
It took Akechta time to recover from that near-death experience but when he did, he closed the door but left it open just enough to see down the hall.
He heard her shuffle about and mumble to herself. He looked at her every now and then, maybe she was a crazy patient? That just made her a lot scarier... a shotgun totting nutbag... Ake shook his head trying to shake the thought. It's better than a bandit with an itchy finger.
"Whatever you can, and get me an inhaler or two? They can save a life, trust me" he opened his back and took what she gave him. As soon as the noise of falling chairs hit his ears his eyes darted around for a couple of seconds before he looked out the door into the corridor. Everything went silent for a few seconds before he saw a chair fly out of a room. The noise caused the nearby Windigos(newly infected, that's what Akechta calls them) to go into a frenzy.
Ake quickly closed the door enough to see with one eye, 3 windigos ran past them towards Miko.
'It's not safe..." Ake said under his breath as if trying to convince himself of why he shouldn't go.
He cussed under his breath and ran towards the sound, he threw his tomahawk as hard and fast as he could, piercing one of the windigos in the back of the head as the other 2 turned the corner. He quickly snuck over to the dead windigo pulling out his tomahawk then leaned against the corner watching the other windigos at the doorway to patient room. He turned the corner in a sprint and flung his tomahawk one more time hitting one in the side of the head. He leapt over the windigo's body and drop kicked the other into a gurney. The clanging of the metal echoed through the corridors.
He quickly pulled out his tomahawk and snuck into the same room as Miko all before the last windigo could stand. He put a finger to his lips and motioned Miko to get down "I hope you can run, more will be here. There's a medicine store room just around the corner to your left" he whispered pressing his back against the wall next to the doorframe "kill the last one and sprint for it, if we stay too long, we'll attract way too many"

Several generic pain releivers, and anti-biotics made their way into the care bag. After hearing his request, Hollie nods as she reached up to grabbed two of the common blue inhalers,along with a epi-pen pack to top off Ake's bag. She was just about to hand him the bag when the commotion began.
When Ake bolted out of the storage room door she quickly sets the bags aside and takes up a position in the door frame to guard it, shotgun at the ready. Checking both sides of the hall Hollie catches the barrel of the strangers weapon as he approached her hallway corner.
When he'd come fully into view she would motion for him to stop before putting a finger to her lips for silence. Pointing at herself she gestures to herself then holds up two fingers as she motions to the patient area Ake had ran into. Finally she held up three fingers and motioning moving up the hallway before pointing at the infected in the hallway floor. Finally she held up two fingers to indicate how many more infected had passed through.
She didn't want to make anymore noise then what had already been made, so Hollie had done her best to explain silently. She just hoped the stranger understood her hand signals and that she was in fact friendly.

"Give him some pain killers" Ake said as he closed the storage room door behind him. He pulled a half full water bottle from his backpack and handed it to Miko "just don't get weak knee'd if we have to start running" he whispered and as if on que, he heard empty pill bottles being moved around.
"Not again" he rolled his eyes in annoyance "we gotta move, I don't know what you call them but there's a Titan that chased me around a while back. I managed to lose him after a while but he's close by" screeches filled the air along with a loud deep roar. The Titan comes.
Akechta has a name for almost every infected. He's been able to outrun a lot to see how they behave and act.
Titan: There have been reported incidents of a large infected breaking out of the labs which caused the epidemic. After that multiple cases of mutated infected have been reported all over. The Titan is the very first mutation. The hosts body needs to be large and muscular with a special blood type to cause the transition. As the cycle begins the muscles bubble up on one side of the torso along with either arm. The arm and torso start to form up into deformed muscles giving the Titan unfathomable power, strong enough to turn a tank over. Their legs are their only weaknesses. They run with a limp and can't maneuver great making them easy to out-run but a Titan is always followed by multiple Chasers.
Chaser: A 3-4 foot infected capable of using its hands and feet to run, it can maneuver terrain with ease no matter how high far someone is. They are scrawny and weak with terrible hearing but can use momentum to knock their targets over for the Titan to pummel them into bloody pulp
"Shit, we need to move, Chasers are going to be on us like flies. Trust me, you don't want to meet a Titan..." he said taking the bottle back once Miko was done "on my mark... 1...2... 3" he bolted down the corridor in the opposite direction of the roaring and screeching. He stopped by the room Byron currently occupied to see who it is"erm, I would run if I were you" he quickly waved him to follow as he shot off running again, his heart pounding. There's a storm coming.

Miko took the bottle unscrewing the lid and taking out a single pill before putting the lid back on and handing it back to Ake, he lowered the mouth part of his mask putting the painkiller in his mouth quickly and putting the mask back up quickly swallowing the pill whole.
hearing the roar Miko's head snapped to the direction of it with his eye wide slowly putting his hand on his pistol, as Ake ran to where Byron was Miko snapped out of his blank stare and ran with him with his eye darting around for any infected they missed or coming.

Trent groans seeing the infected coming straight for the group, he had a small smirk on his face which was hidden by his half mask and jumped landing on the infected and slammed the blade from his hidden blade through it's head killing it.
