This week, the RPR challenges you to arrange a "meet cute" scene between two characters that have never met one another before. The results don't have to be romantic, but they do have to be funny, dramatic or so off-the-wall that it's the kind of thing people will talk about for years to come.
What's a meet cute, you ask?
A meet-cute is a scene in film, television, or literature in which two characters meet in a way that is so unusual or memorable, it seems as if their coming together must have been fate.
This type of scene is especially a staple of romantic comedies, commonly involving contrived, unusual, or comic circumstances. Frequently the meet-cute leads to a humorous clash of personalities or beliefs, embarrassing situations, or comical misunderstandings that further drive the plot.
You are encouraged to not only choose a character (belonging to someone else) that you've never played with before, but a player you've never played with before, too! This is a perfect chance to make a new friend and experiment with potential new RP partners without any risk. It's up to you if your RP will continue beyond the first meet cute scene!

Alright, so I don't really plan to do this, but can I just say that me and my best friend in real life had this kind of meeting? I met her back when her hair was in a pixie cut, and I thought she was a boy. One day, she came to school wearing a skirt and I asked whether or not she was transgender. She said no. I asked if she was a cross dresser. Nope. By this point, she was very confused, and so I just went out and said it. I asked why she was wearing a skirt. And she said it was because she was a girl.
I was so damn confused all I could do was stare at her with my mouth open. It was hilarious!
