Frost shook his head "I'd rather figure this problem out without the help of a snow elf thank you" he said crossing his arms

"I do". Caelius nodded his reply. Most mercenaries tend to work in small standalone armies, but I found that working with other mercenaries ends... rather badly." he smirked.

He looked back to the cave, where the snow elf had appeared and some commotion seemed to be ongoing. "Looks like you've got company. Elvish company."

Logan stood up as he looked back at the cave. "I'm gonna go see what's going on. I'm Logan by the way."

"Is there a problem you have with snow elves then?" Shivan asked, crossing her arms. "I'm not asking you to bow down and beg for help, I'm just offering to help you find a home." She said.

"Sure." Caelius replied. "By the way, I'm here for a reason, and will stay here for a few days more. If you desire to hire me, I will come with you. If you do not, or have nothing to pay me with, I will move on from here." he added, "Name's Caelius"

Logan checked to see that his hold was still back and then ran back to the cave. When he got there, he stood looking at the newcomer, keyblade at the ready. "Frost. Is this lady an enemy?"

Frost shook his head "no, I am just not too fond of snow elves" he said and turned back towards the snow elf "fine, I will ask for your help, but if you so as much as double cross me" he said pulling out his knife "i'll skin you alive and throw you to the wolves"

"And I wouldn't dream of doing such a thing." She replied. "So your name is Frost then?" She turned to Logan. "Even if I was, you would attack a lady and outnumber her unfairly?"

Frost nodded "of course, if it is for a good reason" he told her putting his knife away and standing against the wall

Logan sent his weapon away. "I don't know. I think I'd just knock you out. I'm not much for killing women."

"And what would you do then, after knocking me out?" Shivan asked. "You have to always have a plan in cases like those." She added. "Leaving a Snow Elf in the cold would have them starve to death faster than freeze. You can be cruel, but there is a line between cruel fairness and just utter cruelty."

Frost nodded "then there's something we can agree on" he said looking outside to the mercenary "I just want my village to survive, that's all if anyone gets in the way, I won't hesitate to break them" he said clutching his fist "how well do you know the area elf?"

"The name is Shivan." She snapped back. "And the area, I know it pretty well. Mountains to the North, plains to the south, hills to the east, and the west is a frozen lake." She replied, leaning against a wall.

"Hey frost. I almost forgot to ask you but there's a mercenary out there that says we can hire him. Should we? We could use the help." Logan asked the man.

Frost shrugged "with what? scraps" he said a shook his head "as far as i'm concerned we have nothing left since we left except what we could carry" he then looked to Shivan "alright, where is the best place to settle in the area, we need to make a base camp and fast before everyone either starves or freezes" he said holding up his index finger

"Right now? The mountains. Even if the storm doesn't end, the mountains will keep most of it out if you settle between two of them." Shivan replied. It's one of the reasons the Snow Elves build strongholds there. The storms don't effect them, but the storms kill crops and break visibility if they aren't reduced."

Frost nodded "alright, we'll head out in the morning" he then got closer to Shivan and pointed at her with a finger "and you're leading the way" he said taking a step back and going deeper into the cave to get some rest "Logan you have the watch job for the night"

"Right." Logan sat at the mouth of the cave, keeping an eye on the outside.

"That's fair.." Shivan mumbled, before sitting down, still leaning against the wall. She was perfectly capable of falling asleep like that. She laid her sword beside her, ready to fall asleep.

(caelius doesn't roll for anything other than money, so we have to compromise on some agreement or his presence in the RP will be completely against his character)
