Bradley had noticed the mistresses cat ears, but oddly, unlike most human beings, he didn't insult or confront her about it. Jamie slightly pulled away from Aiko, just enough to look over at Grace, "he has?" She asked almost surprised.
Grace nodded her head yes and smiled. "Should I tell them about those two times, aiko? Or would you rather have the last one left alone for now as a secret?"
Aiko was a tiny bit hesitant to reply, but he looked over at the mistress, "I don't want to hide to much from my parents" he said.
"Okay then I'll tell them. The first time, I had been kidnapped by the people who killed my family and were going to sell me on the black market. But luckily aiko and Emily, the maid who is making the tea, saved me. Emily is a mercenary so she is really strong and aiko was brave enough to nearly get blown up by a grenade. The second time we were at a ball together and my grandmother along with the man she wanted me to marry stabbed me and I was dying. But aiko donated some of his blood and cat DNA so now I have these." Grace pointed to her cat ears.
The two parents listened to her stories, occasionally looking at Aiko, then looking back at the mistress. It sounded like the two of them had it rough, not considering the fact they guessed they had hardships before they met.As she explained the stories, as if she was a master storyteller, he remembered the past vividly. The whole story had caught their attention, but one part caught their attention. The most besides the violent actions.Aiko donated some of his blood and cat DNA , Jamie tilted her head, "cat..DNA?" She asked before looking at Aiko, as if seeking an explanation, Aiko looked down, before letting his ears back up, revealing them to his parents. Both of them looked at the cat ears, hut nothing negative crossed their lips.
Grace put her hand over her mouth, realizing she might've said to much. "I'm sorry aiko, did you not want that said?"
Aiko looked at the mistress, "to late for regrets" he said. Both of his parents seemed surprised at first. But who wouldn't be surprised? Jamie was the first to speak up, "were you..trying to hide this from us?" She asked looking at her sons ears.He nodded just slightly..
"The last normal person, meaning my grandmother, didn't react so kindly to his ears. She called him a demon." Grace explained why he might've been hiding it.
Aiko looked at Grace, "almost everyone thinks negative of it.." he said.Concluding it wasent just her grandmother that disapproved. Remember when he was still knew here, how he reacted when the mistress first found out his secret:
Flashback
1) Grace had tried taking his hat, and he had held it down with both hands, not wanting his hat off, not wanting her to see.
2) Later that day in the Dojo, she had knocked him off his feet, knocking his hat off, revealing his ears. Once everything became clear, and he realized the situation, he had jerked up to a sitting position, and covered his cat ears with his hands, and looked down.
He had been so surprised when she reacted positively.
Jamie looked up at Aiko, "your still human" she said with a smile. He was a living breathing, human/cat/neko, and he was her son. Judging him for his cat ears was like judging somebody cause they were born odd.

Emily walked back into the library carrying a tray of tea cups and a fresh kettle. "Teas here." She said, setting the tray down on the small table in the middle and sat down next to grace. "So I guess we have some catching up to do."
Jamie finally released Aiko from the hug, and went to sit down on the couch, and Bradley sat down beside her, and Aiko had sat in between them.
"So how did you lose aiko?" Grace asked, taking a sip of her tea.
Jamie had picked up a cup of tea for herself, and took a sip in silence.
Bradley was the first to speak up, "I remember that day quite vividly. I was waiting in the hospital wrong room, awaiting the birth of our child. The nurses had made me wait there, and all I could do was hope everything was okay.I was being a little emotional, and I had to sign a paper the nurse said was just a sheet that said I was present for the childs birth, so I signed. After a few hours my wife had finally gave birth to our child, but soon I heard her call out, and next I knew I was running down the hall towards her room, worried, and slammed the door open, and all that was there was her, nobody else.." he said, looking down."I blamed myself for the disappearance of my son.."

Grace began to cry a little. "That's so sad. I'm sorry that happened. Which reminds me of something. Emily have you taken care of the preparations for what I asked?" Emily nodded a yes. "The tanks have been prepared and proper attire for all of them has been found. The dragon egg is also arriving tomorrow."
"Don't worry about it.." Bradley said, not wanting to out weight on the girls shoulders.
Jamie looked at Emily, "I thought dragons were imaginary?" She asked.
Jamie looked at Emily, "I thought dragons were imaginary?" She asked.
"You'd be surprised." Emily assured her. "Only one more day after this aiko." Grace said smiling.
Jamie took another small sip of her tea, "I guess so" she concluded.
Aiko looked at Grace, a smile on his face, "so close.."
Aiko looked at Grace, a smile on his face, "so close.."
"So are there any questions you want to ask us?" Grace asked his parents.
"How did you find 'Aiko'?" Jamie asked, not used to the name Aiko yet..
"I had been looking for new staff and had found him at a house about to be sold. I bid the most money on him and he came home with me. And now, here are." Grace explained.
