Jodie and Bradley looked at the mistress, "Oh, well in that case I guess we'll be on our way" Jodie said.Aiden looked up at his mom, "But I don't wanna go.." he said sadly.
"All of you are welcome to stay the night. Its just that today was a bit long." Grace said through another yawn. True, after meeting the ghosts of ones parents and be thrown to the ground by ones grandmother, she was sure anyone who that happened to right after a wedding would be at least a little tired.
Bradley shook his head, "we have to go home and attend to some things" he said.Aiden walked over to his big brother, "can I spend the night?" He asked, looking back at his parents, then at Aiko, "she said 'we' could.." he said.Aiko looked at Grace, "I don't mind if he does, do you?" He asked seeing she directed to all of them, not a single.
Grace shook her head no. "I don't mind. He'll have to stay in the room with us and Emily though. I'd hate for someone to attack and find him alone." She said, showing concern for the well being of her now step-brother.
Aiden smiled "yes!" He said like he won a trophy or something.Hearing the term attack Jamie looked at Grace and Aiko.She figured she knew what Grace was talking about, but surely this big place had good defence, so she let it slip her mind..Aiden seemed so excited anyway.
Grace lifted herself up from her chair and stretched a little. "Well, let us show you to the door then." Grace said to aiko's parents.
Jamie set her cup down, and stood up, while Bradley took a sip finishing off the last of his tea then stood up and set the cup down and walked over to Jamie. The two waiting for Grace.
Grace, still in her wedding dress, lead the couple to the door and out onto the front porch of the mansion. She then hugged them as tight as she usually hugged aiko. "Thank you so much for coming." She said.
The two followed behind Grace to the door, and onto the front porch.The two hugged her in return, "It was our pleasure" Jamie said."we're glad you invited us." She said.
Grace released them from the hug. "So when should we drop off aiden back at your home?"
Bradley looked at Grace, "sometime tomorrow before dark, how does four sound?" He asked, just so it wouldn't be any trouble.
"Four is fine. Well, it was nice seeing you again." She said, not wanting to keep them from leaving.
"It was nice seeing you to" they said before they walked off to leave.
Grace watched them walk away, then walked back into the house to find aiko and his brother.
When she walked back to the dining room she would find Aiden moving a laser dot around on the floor, and Aiko trying to get it.Oh brother...
Grace walked back into the dining hall and saw aiden moving The laser across the floor and aiko trying to catch it. She tried desperately not to join him, merely watching.
Aiko would catch it, but Aiden would move it making it move away from Aiko, and he'd go after it again.It was so tempting, and Aiko couldn't resist it.
Grace couldn't help herself but went over and put her hand on the dot. "I win, nya!"
Aiden grinned, and moved the little red dot out from under Grace's hands and kept moving it around the floor.Aiko looked at Grace, then the dot again. Attempt number 34 here he comes.
Grace looked up at aiden and smiled. "Aiden, if you don't stop, I'm gonna hug you."
