"Okay mistress!" He said, ready to catch her. He watched her as she fell closer and closer to him, and he caught her, getting pulled down slightly as he caught her, but he managed.
Grace looked up at him from where she was in his arms. "Thanks aiko." Grace kissed him on the cheek.
Aiko smiled at Grace who was in his arms, "your welcome mistress" he said. Anything for his princess.
Grace climbed out of his arms. "I think we should look for that boy." She suggested.
Angel and Aiden walked over to the two.
"That sounds like a good plan" Aiko said.
"That sounds like a good plan" Aiko said.
"Lets check around here first." Grace suggested. If they went looking for him, he'd be in the garden, perched in a tree hiding behind his black wings.
Aiko nodded and followed behind Grace. The two children just followed, taking a guess that their game of tag was over, and back to hide and seek, but they were seeking another person.
Grace checked all of the trees around them and saw nothing, then headed back to the house. Walking through, she saw that the anthros were just sitting around right now, but she didn't see the boy they were looking for.
Aiko looked uo at the trees, not seeing the bird boy anywhere. He followed her inside after no luck, seeing an occasional anthro. Some experiments had to take more DNA from a specified animal than others. Aiko and Angel didn't have as much as some of these people. Some had animal ears, and tails, others had fur on their hands and nowhere else, except the hair/fur on their heads, and others were completely fur and everything else. Yet the boy was nowhere to be seen, and Angel didn't know his scent, so she was no help.
Grace made her way to the garden and continued to search, not seeing him in the tree.
Aiko helped Grace search the garden for the boy, he didn't see him anywhere though. F I were part bird..where else might I be., Aiko wondered,
Grace continued to search the wrong trees. "I kind of feel responsible for this. If I hadn't spoken to him, he wouldn't have run away."
"I doubt he ran away" Aiko said to her, still looking around himself.
Grace looked up at the tree the boy was in and saw a large black mass sitting in it. Quietly she walked over to aiko and pointed at the space in the trees. "Think that's him?" She whispered.
Aiko looked up At where she was pointed. He closely, "there's a chance it is" he said, tilting his head still looking at the blackness,
If the two listened close enough, they'd be able to tell that the boy was sobbing a little bit.
In Aikos focus of looking closely, his ears were listening closely too. His ears flatted a little hearing the faint sounds of sobbing, the boy was crying. Aiko wanted to see what was wrong, but, what if he scared him off.
Taking a bit of a risk, grace got closer to the tree and began to silently climb, the boy not noticing as he sobbed.
Aiko quietly followed behind Grace, he wanted to see what was wrong, he wanted to help..
Grace reached the top of the tree pretty quickly and put a hand on the boys shoulder. "Shush.... It'll all be alright." She said kindly. The boy looked over at her a bit startled, scars covering his exposed arms and legs. "Y-you aren't g-going to beat me, a-are you?" He asked, a little scared.
