He smiled happily. He wasent weak for once.This gauntlet was so cool!
Alyssa walked over to him and took a look at the gauntlet. The outside metal was beginning to turn a light red and would sting aiko a little. "We're going to need to get it off of you now. Wouldn't want it to overheat and burn you." Meanwhile, grace woke up from her nap and got out of bed.
Aiko after a second set the weight down.He looked down at the gauntlet.Seeing it slowly turn right red, but of course t pink, and it stung a little.Did I break it? he wondered.Until it was pointed out that it was slowly starting to overheat.He took the gauntlet off the same way Emily had put it in, and turned it off the same way Alyssa turned it on.He walked over to Alyssa, and handed her the gauntlet, it had now cooled alittle.Since it was off.
Alyssa put it back in its place and looked back at the other two. "Well at least I know it works, I guess. Just doesn't last long." Grace left her room and began to look for where Emily and aiko had gotten. She checked the kitchen but they weren't there. She checked their rooms but they weren't there either. Eventually she decided to check the lab and headed towards it.
"Be nice if it lasted longer.." Aiko said."It could have a lot of advantages" he said looking at Alyssa.After only moments he looked towards the entrance, seeing it open once more, and saw the mistress standing there.
Grace walked inside still half asleep and began to have a look around as Alyssa lead her through the lab, sort of forgetting about Emily and aiko.
Aiko watched the mistress a moment before looking away.He looked around the room again, messing with the blonde tip of one of his ears.
Emily stood next to him, messing with things on a table when she suddenly fell over when going to pick something up, knocking over at table and aiko, which would cause him to land on top of her.
He looked around, messing with the tip of his cat ear with his fingers.But his blissful looking around the room ended when he got got knocked over, and fell.He shook his head, then realized the position he was in, and quickly got off Emily, scooting back a scoot afterwards.
Emily sat up, a little dizzy from her fall. "What happened?" She hadn't noticed that aiko had fallen on top of her.
Aiko didn't want to tell, but he didn't want to lie.Oh what to say..he just told the truth.Its not like he did anything bad."you fell, and knocked me over...and I may have accidentally landed on you.." he said.What was she reaching for anyway.. he wondered.
Emily got up and dusted herself off. "Oh. You're not hurt are you?" Grace and Alyssa ran over to them. "Are you alright, aiko?" Grace asked, sort of concerned. Due to recent events she had begun to grow a fondness for this boy she hadn't known for a long time.
Aiko looked up at Emily, and shook his head.He wasent hurt.After all, she kinda broke his fall.Aiko looked at the mistress."I'm fine" he said as he was standing up.He dusted off his black pants, seeing nearly everything, dust, dirt, etc, shows on black clothes if not dusted away.
"That's good." Emily said. "Now if you will all excuse me, I have to go tend to some things around the mansion." Emily left the lab. "Aiko, can you make me some lunch please?" Grace asked him.
Aiko watched Emily walk off, before looking back at the mistress.He nodded."Yes mistress.What should you like?" He asked.
"Well I think since I didn't have breakfast this morning I'll have pancakes. Can you make that?" She wasn't really feeling like eating anything more complex than pancakes this afternoon anyway.
He smiled a little.With a nod he answered, "I can make that mistress" he said."And specific kind?" He asked.
Grace shook her head no. "Just regular pancakes will do."
He nodded an okay.He could do that."I'll go make them now" he said, and started off towards the exit.
Grace walked after him and Alyssa went back to work on trying to get the gauntlet to work properly.
