Emily thought for a moment. "Well I guess she'd be so mad... She'd probably try to kill you and disown grace."
Aiko hide his face in his sleeping bag.Almost scared of the thought of that lady trying to kill him over him, and the mistress holding hands.
Emily rolled to face toward the wall. "Oh, and if the mistress tries to refuse getting married by saying your going out, cut her off and talk about something else. I'll apologize for you later. You can let her refuse, its just that you can't let her take it too far."
"Okay.." was all that came from him.He looked around from where he lay, still laying on his side.He looked down, and closed his eyes.How am I going to hide my secret around that many people... he wondered.He had the mistress part on his mind too, he was double thinking.
"By The way I found your hat in the dojo. You might need it the day after tomorrow so I thought I'd tell you. Goodnight aiko." Emily fell asleep, but wasn't worried about anything happening because if something did, she was a light sleeper.
Aiko opened his eyes, and bkinked when he heard she had found his hat, "thanks, Emily" he said.He'd have to remember to retrieve it."Goodnight.." he said, closing his eyes once more.Goodnight, mistress, he thought as he curled up a little on his side, and he soon drifted off to sleep.
The rest of the night was peaceful and no one tried to enter the room. The next morning, Emily awoke and woke up aiko. "Time to get some breakfast before the mistress wakes up."
It was great nobody had tried to break in during the night.That was good.When morning soon came, and Emily tried to wake him up, at first he didn't want to..but eventually gave in, and with a quiet yawn, he sat up.He looked up at Emily." What do you and the others usually have?" He asked followed by another yawn.
"Anything to be honest. We all make ourselves breakfast and then get to work with the days activities." Emily walked over to the door and opened it quietly, making sure not to wake the sleeping mistress just yet. "I also have to check the mail this morning." Emily jumped over the banister and ran outside to the mailbox. When she looked at the mail, she found a couple of bills, a book of coupons, and a velvet envelope. "That's the invitation all right." Emily walked back inside and closed the door behind her.
"Ah..." he said.Yet to figure out all the ways things work around here.He got up, and walked over to the door, quietly.He had his hands behind his back, his fingers locked together, and he stretched as he walked.He stopped after a moment, and went out of the bedroom, closing the bedroom door back after he was out.He wondered if his butler job of the morning started whenever the mistress woke up, seeing he hadnt exactly got to experience, and know that, since last time she was kidnapped.He remembered how the miads mentioned the invitations for the ball came today, curious to see, he delayed his breakfast, and waited for Emily,Once she entered the house after checking the mail, he looked t the red envelope.
Emily opened the letter and began to read it out loud to him. "Dear Madame grace, you have been cordially invited to attend the crescent moon ball tomorrow night. You are allowed to be accompanied by one person to 72 maple street and arrive at the host mansion by 7:30 pm. Many thanks, your host."
Aiko listened as Emily read the letter aloud.He never visited 72 maple street, maybe it was nice.But that was beside the point.He hoped the mistress would have fun tomorrow.
"Well, better get some breakfast. I'm probably just gonna have some oatmeal." Emily put the mail down on a small table and walked into the kitchen, getting all the stuff she needed for oatmeal.
Aiko followed Emily to the kitchen.Thinking of what he might have for his breakfast..he'd just wait and see what they had.Once they got to the kitchen, hwe went to look for him something to eat.
Emily finished gathering her supplies and began to make the oatmeal. In no time flat she had a perfect bowl and she sat down and ate.
Aiko went with a simple bowl of cereal.Simpleness, and he wasent looking for anything fancy after all.
As Emily and aiko ate, grace woke up and made her way downstairs.
Aiko finished preparing his bowl of cereal, put the stuff up, and went to eat his cereal.
Grace went into the kitchen looking for everyone. When she saw aiko, she hugged him from behind. "Has the invitation arrived yet?"
