"I believe it will.." he said thoughtful.Will it be similar to ones in fantasy... he wondered.

"Maybe it'll be just like a fairy tale." Grace said, her eyes full of hope and voice full of innocence.

Aiko nodded.He had his hopes high, and he believed it would be like the ones in fairytales.If he didn't have his tail well hidden, it would probably be swaying back and forth, he was happy, happy boy.

Grace noticed how happy he seemed and patted him on the head. "Such an excited kitty." Grace put her hands in her pocket. "Well, you wanna move on to the next habitat?" Grace asked him.

His ears flattened a little when she patted him on the head, and he looked at her.Indeed, he was excited.Though who wouldn't be? "If you want to" he said, looking at her.

"Then lets go." Grace lead the way to the next habitat, which was another tank of sharks. "Once again a dangerous animal of the zoo." She said. Although she didn't care if they kept dangerous animals in the zoo, she felt upset that she couldn't interact with them.

"Yes mistress" he said and followed right behind her, to another tank of sharks,He didn't seem to mind that she kept dangerous animals.Believe it or not, when he was little he made a two friends at that science lab place, both were subspecied with dangerous animals.Though, both of them died when he was little. He looked at the sharks, swimming around in the tank.

"I've been meaning to ask you about your past aiko." Grace said, looking at him. She had never asked before and she felt she didn't really know anything about him.

"What about it are you wanting to now?" He asked her..as he looked at her.

"Everything." She said seriously. "As long as you're willing to tell me, I want to know."

"Can we go elsewhere for storytelling?" He asked."Its a long story"

Grace nodded a yes. "If we go to the library, no one will bother us. Shall we go?"

Aiko was hesitant, but nodded, and started off towards the library.

Grace walked alongside him on the way to the library. "You don't have to tell me you know. I'm fine with you keeping your life a secret."

"I don't mind telling you" he said as they walked.He had nothing about his past to hide.Afterall, its just the past.

"Okay, if you're sure." Grace said. She didn't mean to pry, its just that she was a very curious person. And sometimes she was told it would get her in trouble.

After a few minutes, they had made their way inside the mansion, down the halls, and to the library, Aiko held the door open for Grace, and once she was inside, he went inside as well.

Grace walked into the library and sat down in her usual seat. "You may begin."

Aiko sat down beside her, and was silent a second, as if thinking of how to begin this long story.He looked at her, "some of this, is coming from what I've eavesdropped on, and heard from the source" he said, and looked away.He then began to tell his story."Many years ago, September 4th, as far as I know, my birthday, I was taken away from my parents at birth.The second I was born.They never even got to see my face, or anything.I was sent off to a research lab, as a test experiment, back when I was fully human..they wanted to use me, to preform a simple test on.Test #2328:Could the human body withstand a merge between human DNA, and cat DNA." He said playing with the blonde tip of one of his cat ears, maybe the cat had blonde fur..He continued his story, "that's how I got a cat tail, and cat ears, and odd fascinations.Due to my oddness, and abnormality, The scientists didn't want me out in public much.I didn't go to public schools or anything, I was taught inside that same building.I was taught everything I know now.I spent my life there, induring the needles, and drugs, the experiments, and all, until I turned about 14, then I ran away.I wasent going to live like that anymore, even if it meant me living on my own.There was one person, who was actually nice to me at that institution, but it just wasent worth it.Seeing I never went out in public much, I wasent used to the judgemental stares, and glares of people as they looked at me, having my tail, and ears..I just kept my head low, and tried to survive.Though, there was that one time I was hungry, and wanted food, so I stole something small from a small stand, and some man, the man who owned the stand I Stole it from, jabbed me in the back with a knife for stealing..and took his food back." He paused a moment, thinking, " I lived on the streets for about a year, and a half, until I was almost 16, then the man who I previously lived with, who 'helped' people, found me, and offered me a home.I stayed with him, just like many, many people did.He taught me some stuff, and then about a year later......you came along..and wanted me..." he said.

Tears welled up in her eyes. "You poor thing. I'm so sorry to hear that." Grace felt really guilty now. She thought about how she'd lost her parents a long time ago and he'd never met his.
