(Perfect timing on your scale?)
"Its okay" Aiko said, thank goodness that, awkward moment, was not mistaken for something bad.Though when Grace told Emily they he, and her were in love...he looked down, being shy, again.
"Its okay" Aiko said, thank goodness that, awkward moment, was not mistaken for something bad.Though when Grace told Emily they he, and her were in love...he looked down, being shy, again.
Emily looked at the two and shrugged. "I can believe it. Although this does complicate some things. Aiko, will you please talk to me for a second?" She motioned for the two of them to leave the room for a minute.
Aiko looked at Emily, he wanted to think what she had to talk about wouldn't be good, but he nodded an okay.
Emily lead him outside of the room and outside onto the front lawn of the mansion. "Are you insane?! What did we talk about last night about the ball?! How are you supposed to not act romantic if you've gone and fallen in love with her?!" The maid took a minute to calm herself down. "I'm sorry, its just that I don't think this is the best time for that. I'm glad she told me and I'm happy for you, but not exactly The best time for it."
Aiko looked down, his ears flattened a little. He kept quiet.Almost like a child getting scolded for doing something bad."Sorry..." he said quietly. This was secretly why he feared Grace telling Emily...because of the conversation..
"Now it'll be a bit more difficult tomorrow. Well its not like you guys have kissed on the lips or anything." She said hopefully, not knowing the two have kissed twice.
Aiko didn't look up, and he didn't respond to that...silence could be taken as, um, yes they did.
Emily looked at him. "You did, didn't you?" She asked, although she was willing to guess that they had already due to his body language.
Aiko looked down a little more, indicating his answer was probably yes..
"Okay." Emily sighed. "So how will we be able to hide this fact from certain relatives that if were angered by this news would kill you and take this mansion and everything that belongs to it away from the mistress leaving her out in the street alone?" Emily sat down and began to think of a solution. "Aiko, help me think of something."
He felt guilty for that possibly that could become the future. He started trying to think of solutions. He couldn't ignore the mistress, that would against being a butler, and it'd break her heart....
"Maybe when you get to the ball you go dance with someone else?" Emily suggested.
"I can't see that working..." he said. The statement the mistress made earlier when he told her nobody was better then here popped into his head.
"Well, we could have it so that you both arrive at the ball together but you just try to lie to everyone and say you're just her butler. Not a route I want to go with but it might be necessary." Emily suggested her seond idea.
"What if the mistress told somebody that we were in life...?" He asked. He could abide by a p,an, but could she?
"I'll tell her not to act like she is in love with you. Its only for one night so we shouldn't have a problem pulling this off." Emily assured him. She was willing to believe this plan would work.
He nodded an okay.IH how he hoped this would work.He had hope that it would..
Emily stood up from where she sat. "Well, I guess that's all. Lets go inside aiko." Emily opened the front door and walked in, walking back to aiko's room.
Aiko followed her back to his room.Silently.
Grace was still there when they got back. Emily explained what she needed to know for the ball but didn't bring up anything from her two conversations with aiko. "Okay, if you think its best." Grace said. "As long as me and aiko can dance together tomorrow."
