I just needed to express my extreme surprise that I've not been able to find any Harry Potter related forums rps or groups on here. It blows my mind, normally potter stuff is scattered everywhere in places like this...

I suspect this has something to do with the search functions for groups being unfinished, and the forum search code being in sore need of updating! I know I've seen a few floating around before.

That said, yes, HP seems to be steadily declining in popularity amongst the RP crowd.

ah, maybe that's it then. The decline you're seeing could have something to do with the activity on Pottermore though. The chat rooms there are very active with RPers. It's not very useful for when you want to make longer posts though, there's an annoying little character limit of 140.

HP RP is, sadly, a dying art.

Looking for more general "magic school" type RPs instead of ones specific to Harry Potter might help? An ever-growing number of people just aren't comfortable with HP stuff anymore.

Wish I could award this comment somehow. I quite like that I haven't seen any HP Roleplays on here yet. . As a former fan who can no longer support due to obvious reasons, it hurts just a little to see a fandom I was raised with and disowned still around so predominantly.
