I have someone as a friend in here who is very prolific in their activity. I don't want to block them, but I don't need to see everything they are doing.
How on earth can I change the settings so I see more or less of a friends activity here?

Go to Your Stuff > Friends (https://www.rprepository.com/settings/friends) and uncheck Watch and/or Watch Characters next to their name.
You can also fine tune your notifications further from the homepage - click the pencil icon next to the filter "All", at the very top of the sidebar.
