She looked back at him and nodded. "Yep but..." She looked at the ground. "What if it shattered? They are delicate..." Her voice sounded hopeless as though she'd given up.
''Do not act hopeless, young one. What did it look like?''
She held out her tiny clawed hands. "It's about as big as your forehead and a little taller than it is wide...It's also a really pale blue..."
''Perhaps it landed far away from here, like a town.''
She dropped her head. "But if it landed in a town the humans will have it...I can't change into my human form without my star so I can't get it back" she looked up at him. "Not to mention if we go there you'll get hurt..."
''I'll find a way to fend myself.''
Hoshimi nodded and began to move to the nearest town.
He follows her, shrinking into a smaller dragon made of stars.
She slipped into the town and darted from place to place. her grey eyes scanning for anything that looked like her star.
Celest Dark looked too, darting out of human sight.
Hoshi found what looked to be on of the arms of the star. she held it in her small arms.
''Dif you find it?''
"Part of it." she whimpered.
''It must have broke when it hit the ground..''
She nodded. She guessed it would have. Thankfully the star shard would give her enough power to turn human, which would make it easier to move around in this town. She pressed the shard to her forehead and hit shrunk down. In a glow of silvery light Hoshimi's body changed, reforming to take the shape of a human's. She stood at about five feet tall and had spiky sliver hair. "That's a little better."
''So now we need to retreive the rest of the peices before the humans find them all.''
She nodded. "Yes, I hope the humans don't have any piece of it..." her voice sounded grave. If they figured out how to use the shard...
''For it could be dangerous if they figured out.'' He replied, gazing at the stars silently, lost in thought.
She nodded then smiled, "but we won't let that happen."
''We must combiner our search to find the star before it falls into the wrong hands.''
