He took her hand and walked the both of them to the console.
"This is our way out of here."
He brought his face so close to hers that their lips could practically almost touch.
"Are you sure you want to come with me and leave all this behind?"

She blushed and her eyes stared at her and she smiled daringly."lets do it....this will be fun..."

The Time Lord pressed a sequence of numbers on the typewriter, twisted the Helmic Regulator then pulled down the space-time throttle.
The Tardis began to dematerialize. The interior was shaking heavily.
He turned towards the girl.
"Pick a place, any time, any year and we'll go there. Together. Anywhere at all."

She thought for a moment and then paused before speaking."Hardon County, Kentucky 1804.Febuary 21st" she said off the top of her head and held on tightly to a railing as she was about to be thrown about.
(i believe that's Abraham Lincolins birthday lol)

"Hmm, that's odd. we'd be going directly to the industrial age."
He set the value of the Atomic Accelerator to 90% and with perfect precesion, directed the Tardis in the vortex with the time rotor handbrake.
"Any ideas what to do when we get there?"

Look around and see of there's anything fun to do?" She asked with a smile broadening on her face."I mean...this will be great wontbit?"

He stared at her for a few minutes.
"You really are something else Penelope.
Put your hand on this and pull it straight down."
The Time Lord pointed to a large red lever.
"Careful now, any wrong movements and we could be sent back to the prehistoric age."
"Despite your adorable face, i doubt the Dinosaurs would approve." He laughed.

She blinked and then giggled softly blushing. He thought She was adorable? She reached up and pulled the lever as far as he told her to and she sighed satisfied. "Well...aparently I'm a time traveler now." She said brushing imaginary diet off her shoulders.

"Mmhmm you practically are."
The Tardis landed with a thump as it materialized within the soil of 1800 America.
"We've landed."

She ran to the door of the Tardis and opened it wide. She gasped and stared at everything."whoa....everything is so different....."

Edward placed on his long black coat before following her outside the Tardis.
He laughed
"Our clothes are still wet, we'd look like absolute idiots to the locals."

"Well....I guess they wouldn't be completely wrong." she said and twirled around a lamp on the street.

He snickered.
"Let's go find a place to stay for the night."
As they walked he looked at her prosthetic arm.
"Any idea what we'll say to locals if they see your arm?, i'm not sure if prosthetic arms or anything similar have been invented yet.
I don't want you being captured for witchcraft or anything like that."
He put his right arm around her waist.

"Just say you're one heck of a doctor." She said giggling before pushing him away playfully." Bah bah bah bahhhh....buy me dinner first bucko." She said giggling. when he had put his arm around her waist.

He burst out into laughter.
"Did you just call me 'bucko?'.
Penelope Ross, i think we might have a problem."

She frowned. "Don't make fun of me." She said crossing her arms and then looked at him. "What problem?"

"The problem is....
You called me bucko!."
He grinned.
"I'm afraid to say that you've hurt my feelings."

"Oh really.....bucko the noun for a young man....hardly sounds like an insult to me." She said and giggled softly and playfully punched his arm. "i'll call you whatever I feel like." she said pouting. "Johnny Boy..."
