Edward laughed as they walked.
The scene was already quite dark, when he brought the Tardis to this location, he wasn't specifically sure just what time they had landed in.
Directly in front of the duo was a small western town.
Unknown to Edward and Penelope, the town was riddled with criminals.
There were secrets in this world that they were about to encounter.
He looked forward in the direction of the town.
"Don't you think it's a little quiet for an area such as this?"

She looked around."...yea....it is quite eerie......why would a town this size be so quiet...it isn't that late..." She said and stared at the town before them. She grabbed his arm and pulled herself up to him.

"You're right.
It's a little too quiet."
He looked around the scene
The town displayed every characteristic of that of a horror movie setting.
Edward held her arm as they approached the silent ghost town.
"Let's check the tavern first to see what people have to say about the place."

She nodded and pointed to a building that had a sign with red lettering that was unlegible. "I don't know if anyone actually lives here...this place has no actual signs...."

"This whole thing reeks of danger."
Edward began to wonder what would happen if they encountered any sort of adversity.
"Say, Penelope?, are you able to defend yourself should anything happen?"

She looked at him and looked at her arm."well...I mean...I can't necessarily be unlucky with this. But I...I think I could."

The thought began to worry Edward. What if something was to happen that was completely out of their control?,
this era was a peculiar one. They both could be easily killed for things as simple as a glance given to the wrong individual.
Besides, this whole thing just felt wrong.
He turned face her directly.
"Let's go back to the Tardis.
We don't need to stay here!, in fact!, i know an amazing planet not too far from this galaxy that makes the absolute perrrrfect sausage suppers!"

She looked him in the eye, seeing past his eyes, she frowned."to think....the guy with a t.a.r.d.i.a is afraid of a town that may or may not be empty....they are probably shy people..." she said and looked up at him tilting her head.

"You're saying this setup doesn't freak you out at all?,
what if something was to happen to you??, you realize that would be MY fault?
I brought you here, you're my responsibility.
But now, after proper consideration, this place just doesn't seem safe.
Come on, lets get back to the ship."

Penelope sighed and groaned. She was about to turn when she saw a little kid open the blinds of their house."wait...look...if this place is dangerous we need to help!"

Edward glanced at the kid curiously peering out between the blinds.
"He doesn't look like he needs any help.
We wouldn't want to cause a scene with his family or any of the locals."

She crossed her arms."don't judge this place...okay....it is just peacefuland quiet....why are you,so jumpy?" she said and looked the town over.

He sighed.
There was absolutely no convincing the young woman.
"I just.. worry too much i guess."

She was about to say something when she turned and looked in the darkness."do you are that?" she asked and began making her way to the corner of a house shrouded by darkness.
