I don't really know how to RP, I came to this site to learn how to and to make new friends! I have seen many people RP but I haven't been really interested in it until a lot of my friends started role-playing and telling me how interesting it is.
I want to improve a lot!
I'm really shy btw! It takes me a lot of thinking and confidence to talk to a new person!
I have two puppies! They are adorable, I love English, I don't work, I just want to live a good life and I currently don't have any questions about the site

Welcome! Pleasure to meet you.
When getting started with RP, I really recommend this primer on basic RP concepts as a starting place. Even if you have some RP experience, it can be a nice way to see what the general norm is here.
We also had some community discussions awhile back about how to improve at RP.. I boiled them down into interesting articles for those who are interested. Here's a selection of my favorite ones:
Writing for RP
The responsibility of ALL RPers (getting this one right will generally make people sing your praises!)
And if you want to put a slightly more advanced technique in your back pocket for now and again: Using dice to enhance RP
There's lots of things to do and try here, so if you have questions or curiosities, don't worry, there's a lot of resources. Firstly, sometimes just typing a question into the search box will get you the info you need, or you can go to the Help section to see a list of popular articles. If you still need more help, our community is wonderfully friendly. Please don't hesitate to ask for help if you need it!
