-she sat down at Farras table and began to talk to her fairy friend-
Charlotte had started to toddle around the place with Phoenixheart keeping a close eye on her.
Nhil lightly stepped to the door of the sweet shop, feeling utterly ridiculous. Sure, this wasn't his first Halloween spent on Earth, but it was his first time diving into the culture of the holiday... and he didn't completely understand it. He could imagine it was enormous fun to walk from door-to-door dressed as something else and earning candy, but the cheap fabric that bit into his skin was less-than-appealing. Enough so to make him wonder if the discomfort was worth it.
Falling back onto his haunches, he looked down at the faux-linen shirt and faux-leather jacket he had on, a cheap sash tied around his neck and body. The idea had been 'Captain Jack Sparrow,' the result had been some poor reptile in a tricorn hat.
Sighing, he raised a clawed hand to the door and gently pushed it open, returning to all-fours in order to enter. The place certainly seemed lively and warm-- the occupants even more so.
"Uhm... hello? Wait, wait, wait.... no... trick or treat!" he called out, trying to bring the same enthusiasm he had heard other trick-or-treaters use.

"We're having a good time, but maybe we should go," Kristan said. "But it's cold outside," Lirit reasoned out before Kristan just dropped the jacket of her cosplay on Lirit's head. "Actually before we go, what flavor are these cupcakes and cookies?" Kristan asked, trying to be polite.
Zachary had been anything but pleased with how the night was going. With the fact that he lost track of one of his friends that said they wanted to enjoy the festivities together. Sighing and running a hand through his hair, Zach decided to do what he thought might have been best: going door to door. Residences, shops... it did not really matter, so long as he ended up finding his friend that had separated herself from his company when he was not paying attention.
The scents of sweet pastries filled the air as Zachary continued his adventure. Hesitance filled him; he was supposed to be doing something that meant finding his friend. Stopping for sweets and pastries would have been counterproductive to that!
...
Or would it?
"Viola likes sweets, too... right?" Zachary questioned himself. Coming up with a positive answer in his mind, Zachary made his way toward the building that the sweet scents were coming from. Sure, some sweet treats would have been good -- and it looked like there were others within the area that had the same kind of idea.
"Even if she's not here, I might be able to bring her back for something," Zachary muttered to himself, feeling almost guilty about succumbing to his cravings.

Hey Hyla where is your goody bag? -i reached into mine, grabbing a second cookie- I wouldve thought you wouldve been given one by now. -i munched on the cookie, the dresses stomach growling. Its tail, wolf like wotj spikes sticking out of it,wagged slowly with hunger-
Jacob nodded to Asroc, he was enjoying himself, "and," Jacob thought as he bit into one of the cookies, "The treats here aren't that bad."
Seeing more people entering the shop, Charlotte went back to her mother and clung tightly to her. She always was pretty clingy when it came to her parents.
OOC: Taking a light, day break. Continue folk.
((Don't mind me popping in with Creatia's derpy cat human familiar. ))
"Can't believe Mama Cre has me going trick-or-treatin' for her..." a stray young male murmered as he walked down the street, looking for more places to get some candy. His bushy tail swayed in between his legs as he took the time to pause and survey his surroundings. "I don't even know if I'm doing this right. Do I go up and sing for them before asking for candy...?" A rough shake of his head as his footsteps continued down his chosen path. "No, that's something different. I think you say... Trick or treat. Yeah, that's it. Trick or treat."
Nodding to himself in reassurance, he started to pass by what seemed to be a sweet shop when a side glance inside froze him in his tracks. Edging backwards a bit, he turned his neck to get a better look at the inside. Two robots handing treats to customers? And one or two were walking out without paying for their food. Trick or treaters, maybe? Maybe they were samples? The catboy familiar had to check it out for himself.
Straightening his jacket and giving another nod to affirm his cause for sweets and goodies, he entered the shop and watched all of the people get their food. All of the treats smelled so sweet. Mama would love this place... he mused as his steps tread closer to the robot duo and their master while viewing all of the customers (?) enjoy the baked goods.

Charlotte continued to cling tightly to her mother, though the newest person to enter had caught her eye. Her eyes were wide with curiosity as she shyly peered at him from behind Phoenixheart. She didn't know why, but she just found him a bit interesting for whatever reason. Though that was soon interrupted as she yawned a bit and rubbed her eyes sleepily. She seemed to be getting a bit tired.
Noticing her daughter was getting tired, Phoenixheart smiled softly. "Why don't we start heading home so you can get some sleep, Charlotte?" she suggested. Charlotte shook her head in response to the suggestion and insisted "No. Wanna stay... bit wonger." Phoenixheart let out a soft laugh and replied, "Alright, we'll stay a bit longer, but then we're going home, alright?" Charlotte quietly nodded in understanding.

Teseo decided to lend his French friend some help as well. Asroc's robots scrambled around and would greet new people. The meme master? Well, he was told to 'talk' normal as there be some people coming. The Korean Adept with the sharp fangs gave a rather wily grin as he scuttled over to Hiro and Nielle.
"Ehehehheeehh!!" The adept chortled. "Imma helpin' Asroc. Don't mind his robots! Need help? I can lend a help lol!"
He could not help but to giggle. It was his nature. It was his antics.
"Take a seat, have fun! One of them little bots will help ya! Hehe.. Sorry... sorry... I kinda need somethin' to do!"
Maybe he was hyped up on candy or that Asroc needed another hand to help with guests.

Ash, despite knowing full well that the entire establishment was run by known Adept terrorists, was hungry after a night of roughing it on the streets. Some crazy dream about aliens and knights and stuff woke her up, and she was feeling pretty irritable.
She stumbled through the open doors - managing to narrowly miss any other patrons - and suddenly realised she'd never trick or treated or even visited a restaurant/patisserie/coffee shop/whatever this was before.
"...uh, hello."
This was directed to nobody in particular, but someone probably overheard it. Was that the idea?

Nhil, who'd just recently padded through the door himself, approached Ash with a similar level of awkwardness. Every few moments he threw a glance at Teseo, more than slightly freaked out by him.
"Hey there," he said, wringing his tail nervously in his hands. With an unbeatable amount of uncertainty he continued into what he believed was a safe conversation-starter, "uh... how's your night going? You enjoying Halloween?"

A twitch of his bushy tail, and Nielle was already curious about the green-haired Adept. What's with the fangs? Is he a familiar too? No, he doesn't smell of mana... So what is he? Best not ask and just assume. Yes, that's it. But his words are weird, as well as his laugh. Is it a costume? So many questions, and yet the cat male didn't want to ask any of them. All he could do was just hold up a really big container already filled halfway to the top with sweets (and a bag or two of catnip from the more 'knowledgeable' treat givers) and say, "Trick or treat."
Oh, so the robots were giving the sweets away! Nielle nodded to Teseo as he took an empty table by himself and waited for one of them to arrive and give him what he was looking for. In the meanwhile, he took to fussing with a strand of his hair. Force of habit. Nothing major. If someone did approach him during his wait, he would look up with those pale blue eyes of his, and paid attention to their movements as he listened to them speak. He wasn't one to ask why they were talking to him. Either they wanted something from the familiar or just felt like talking to him.

Watching as some people passed him, and watching as it seemed that people were enjoying themselves at the bakery was what convinced Zachary further. Caving into his desires, he walked toward the bakery, avoiding bumping into people and seeing what exactly that the bakery had to offer. He heard the chirps of trick-or-treaters asking for goods, and he then felt somewhat foolish.
Of course that had to be a likely catch to all of this.
Looking around to see who might have been working at the bakery and keeping it going, Zachary followed along after who was saying 'trick or treat' and then followed the example that was displayed before him. Clearing his throat, he went ahead and said it himself: "trick or treat."

Asroc popped out of the kitchen, carting cookies and other things, while his robots handed out more treats. Maybe he should go into his Grimored form to make things more into a hasty manner.
"Welcome one and all!" HE called out. He huffed a bit and would brush his brow. "Welcome here. Take a seat and enjoy yourselves!"
One of the robots looked up at the man named Zachary. He would hand the male a bag of cookies before bowing. Another poked Ash, Nhil and Nielle.
Asroc however smiled for the first time in his life. This was truly a remarkable thing he has ever planned for the day.

Nhil glanced down at the robot jabbing at his haunch, smiling and gratefully taking the bag, "thanks, little buddy." He pulled out a cookie without much hesitation and took a bite, smiling at the sugary-sweetness he had yet to get used to here on Earth. "And thank you, sir!" He called out to Asroc, "These are amazing!"
The drake took a moment to observe the smaller-robots running all about the place, marveling over their fine-tuned mechanics. Of course, the largest one (larger than himself by far) was more than a little intimidating, but fascinating all the same. He grinned again, reveling in the joy that hovered in the air of the bakery (and if he stole a few sniffs of sugar and dough... well, it couldn't be a sin. Could it?)

"The heck's this robot doing? Is this bakery automated or something?"
Ash stares down at it, clearly not getting the point.
"Where's the warm humanity in having machines do everythi- wait, are those free?"

((Ahhhhhh! I'm so sorry for not replying 'till now!))
Charlotte had started to get nervous with all the new people, yet she still didn't want to leave. Although she was only two and the people here seemed quite a bit older than her, she wanted to talk to someone besides her mother, even if it was just a simple few words. Gathering all of the courage a shy two year old could muster, she tentatively toddled up to Asroc and said a very quiet "T-thank you fow sweets... l-liked cookie..." It might not have been heard, but she did at least try. Soon after, she toddled back to her mother.
