Rose shrugged "Okay....." she stood up.

Justin waited for her to start walking.

Rose sighed and walked in the direction of her house.

Justin followed, making a few jokes. He wanted her to laugh or smile.

Rose did smile a few times just to be friendly, she didn'y understand why he wanted to be around her so badly.

Justin smiled when she smiled. He wasn't paying attention to where he was going until he tripped and fell on his butt. He burst out laughing.

Rose ouldn'y help but giggle she reached out her hand to help him "You should be more careful."

"Just makes me remember that I'm pretty clumsy sometimes." Justin grabbed her hand and stood up.

Rose smiled "Just be careful okay, I don't want you getting hurt,your my only friend."

"I finally got you to say it." He smiled.

"Say what?"

"I'm your friend. I was wondering how long it would take you to say it."

"Oh well...." Rose trailed off looking down at her feet.

"I didn't mean to offend you. I was just hoping you would be my friend."

"You really want to be my friend?"

"Of course." He smiled at her.

Rose smiled back "Thanks!"

"You don't have to say thank you."

"It's polite," Rose insisted.

"Okay." He smiled.
