The chatter in the room never ceased to die down even though the TA was present in the room. Boys were flirting with their neighbouring girls and one couple was full-blown making out beside her. First day of college and she was already shown Cupid's secret weapons.. Maybe someone should commission a PDA control session and distribute condoms around at this point.
Where was the professor? Where was the person that was supposed to teach them about literature? Bianca fiddled with her pencil case and opened up her laptop, idly scrolling through her emails while washing the view of unnecessary hormones with her coffee. She was beginning to dose off when a loud bang of the door shook her out of her reverie.
A man in a formal printed shirt and brown slacks- no older than 26- strolled through the doors, carrying a leather bag and an identical coffee cup to her own. The only distinctive feature he had was his thoroughly dyed pink hair and ebony eyeliner, which made Bianca bite her lip.
He seemed somewhat familiar. Was he a family friend of hers? Was he a brother of her friends' she had met in high school? Either way, she was soothed by the sight of a familiar face.

``Bonjour, everyone!`` Elias cupped his hand around his mouth and yelled, looking around the rowdy class with a resigned expression. He had dreaded life as a college teacher as the elite literature students in Weston High were famous for being rambunctious- but nevertheless, he had made sure that a few students on his list of attendees were rumoured to be less proactive. He scanned the room and straightened up as he noticed a former piano student of his, namely Bianca. Hopefully she wasn't one of the idiots.
