“I’m Jonathan Burns, A second year English student and amateur author. Don’t worry about being bored with me and finding interest in something else,it happens a lot and I’m rather used to it.”
He spoke as he scratched the back of his head.

“I could help you find the English room if you want. It’s not far from here but you could still get lost.”
He openly stated as he offered her his hand to take.
“Honestly it doesn’t matter to me if you say yes or not. Your life isn’t mine.”

She widened her eyes as she heard him say the words 'amateur author', withdrawing her hand as it was ignored. "You're an amateur author? That's exactly what I was hoping for a chance to experience when I applied for this course.. Of course, I was thinking more of a poetry album instead of a novel..." She rambled on, not entirely aware of whether Jonathan paid attention to her. Her latte wobbled dangerously as she gestured at a nearby room, which happened to be a math classroom. "It's my third time in this building and I still have no idea where my musical classes are located, I would really appreciate the guidance!"

Jax tilted his head as he flipped out his phone from his back pocket, turning the thing on the check the time. He sighed when he realised they still had a good five minutes before the class started, and that made the boy groan.
He just wanted to go in, sit down and learn about English. Not that he needed to, but... it was likely that he didn't know everything just yet.
A smirk made it's way across the tanned face as he thought about himself. He wasn't vain of such, he just knew he was a pretty awesome guy. Well, opinions would vary on who the thoughts were coming from. Some would agree, and then others wouldn't. Someone called him a princess once, and the boy winced at the memory. That poor lad had been in hospital for a solid three months. He got what he deserved. That was bullying... totally.
The boy flicked his phone out again, checking the time once more. No time had passed. His impatience grew, and this showed by his foot starting to rapidly tap against the floor, or it might just have been his ADHD.
He silently swore when he realised he'd left his medication in his dorm. He gritted his teeth. Did he have enough time to grab it? He flipped his phone out again. No. He put it back in the back pocket of his jeans. He let out an irritated sigh. Hopefully the teacher would understand if he had to run and get them, right! Right.
He let out a small sigh of reassurance for himself, before realising there was about another two minutes. He gritted his teeth once more and awaited the painful start of class.

He liked this girl, she didn’t pretend to be someone else which was honestly something he appreciated. He hated anyone who put up a false facade...he even hated himself.
As smoothly as he could he took her by the hand and began to pull her twords her destination.
“So-“
He began in attempt to make light conversation with her
“Any specific genre you like?”

The brunette laughed, blushing slightly at the sudden contact, "My teachers all say that my writing style is more suitable for a poet or a romance novelist, but it's just because I'm skilled at developing detailed scenery as well as writing fanfiction.. Probably even more skilled than I ever wanted to be. I like reading horror novels though." She took another sip at her latte and clutched her laptop close to her chest, eager for the first day of lessons. "How about you?"

The male watched the stranger drag the female away, his eyebrows furrowing in slight disappointment. He'd liked to have met that girl, he'd liked to have at least introduced himself. She seemed nice.
Jax quickly got rid of the innocence which had started to develop within him, simply groaning impatiently as he waited for the class to start, his foot still tapping against the floor.
Did he have the time to go after her? He flicked his phone out. He put it back. Ugh, no. There wasn't much time now.
Otherwise he'd have gone running after her, maybe accidentally bump into her for an excuse to talk to her, maybe take a book out of his bag and ask if it was hers? No, that was stupid. Very, very stupid. He was smarter than that. He could easily come up with some excuse to talk to her.
So why couldn't he?
He furrowed his eyebrows again. Why was he starting to obsess over this stranger? It was also stupid, it didn't make any sense. He sighed and shook his head, simply flicking his phone out again, this time actually unlocking it and typing away on it.

“ it’s actually kind of embarrassing, you see I usually write romance...young adult romance. I’ve been told I’m really good at writing how a character feels and expressing their emotions.”
He spoke, rubbing the back of his head as they walked amongst the halls. “ I know it’s ridiculous but I really do love it.”

"It is not ridiculous if you enjoy it. Only the people who try too hard to please all their readers, or attempt too hard to make their book a bestseller are classified as ridiculous in my book... Those who write literature porn- or the so-called 'lemons' and 'smut'- included.." She gave him a bashful smile before looking away, "I hope I'll enjoy my semesters here. This place seems pretty fun-"

She stumbled forward once again as she felt something hit her back yet again. Craning her neck, she spotted a group of scantily clad girls giggling at her. She arched an eyebrow, "Are we in some kind of fanfiction or does this actually happen to new girls in this school around here?"

“ just be glad they all aren’t named heather.”
He tells her in a more than sarcastic remark as he pulls her along. Eventually they would arrive to class and he would help her to her seat. He then moved all the way back to his own, which rested against the window in the second to last row of the room. After that, he remained utterly silent...his gaze filtering between the paper set before him and the view beyond the window.
