Somehow I have never received a spam email.. but on some social medias I have gotten a lot of spam. I don’t even use that website anymore, so I have no idea why so many robot ladies want me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
One of my most used social media sites, furaffinity, is crawling with bots trying to get you to join a discord server or let them reupload your art.
It’s so sad that all is just infested by spam and lurking bots and I-don’t-know-what-else. I’m aware that site and forums need advertisements to be kept alive, but why can’t it just stay with advertisements.
Here in Luxembourg all these phone calls and other door-to-door scam is not allowed and directly signaled, same as bots on RPR. You could even sue those guys that put this little cards on your windshield ‘we buy your car’ as that is considered an intrusion.
I wish you all perseverance and patience to face those unwanted calls, be strong and don’t hit the phone, it’s not its fault 😉

Been working on some ideas for the short story thing for epic week, and I have to say its really fun! Got around 6 pages in my notebook about it and I really hit flow state earlier, I feel great about it!

And here in the States, those door-to-door people might find a shotgun...
I know where I live, a community of farmers more or less, people trying to survey for an area to build a carbon pipeline, were definitely greeted with and chased away with shotguns lol

I use an app (which I shall not name because there's kiddins here) that's invested with bots...like come on, just let an adult have fun with another adult, but I barely get on the app (and deleted it once and reinstalled it for some reason) anyway. So yeah...scam bots are definitely ruining places and apps.
A friend of mine on DeviantArt recently got a scam bot messaging him. Needless to say, I don't think any social media is safe from those kinds of bots.
