Kono made a anger growl towards Revanna who blocked his blade with her own. Pressing up against the blade to fight back. "Really? So does that mean that was a love tap?" He grinned devilishly as he pushed off of her and did a back flip. He was about to take her on again when he heard a voice inside of his head.
Enough, Kono! You have no time to fight! Go and find other survivors for our experiments.
But! I have them! I can do this!
Are you disobeying me! The voice boomed in his head and suddenly pain came to his head.
He screamed out in pain as he fell to his knees, holding his head in his hand. No...no! I will go When the pain had stopped he lifted his head towards the three women, "You are lucky that I don't finish you off right now." He stands up and dusts himself off, as he did so his blades returned back into his skin. There was no mark or anything when his blades went back into his skin. Without another word, he turned and leaped on top of a roof then disappeared from sight.

Wren stared off after the creature, "Well... that was rather odd." She shook her head, "We'll never catch it, not when it can just... leap over tall buildings like that." She sighed, "Aliens with an orange superman-wannabe... absolutely wonderful." Sarcasm and disgust dripped from her voice, "If that thing turns out to be bullet-proof I'm going to..." She trailed off and sighed again, "Never mind. I'm going to have to go and grab my supplies. I'm not hanging around here for it to bring back friends." The former pilot looked over at Revenna and then Isabelle, "I've not got much with me, but you're welcome to tag along." Despite her rather sardonic tone, there was a genuine look of welcome in her eyes. It'd be nice to have company, and there was always strength in numbers.

Isabelle nodded and crouched down, staying hidden behind the market as she watched the strangely coloured man. Then, she looked over at Wren. "Glad to" She said. She was happy that she had someone else to be with.

Maxi had been hiding in one of the lobbies of a neighboring building, biting her lip as she watched that orange creature attack a single girl. It didn't look like he wanted to eat her or anything- and what she had noticed was that some of the creatures were not just killing... but rather 'capturing'. Maybe they had a thing for human women, but somehow Maxi doubted it. Monsters normally wanted to do monstrous things... and why does putting together a shotgun from spare parts (and maybe putting in a mod or two) take so long on the fly??
Only a few more moments and it was up and working- she hoped. Otherwise it wouldn't be the first time she had something explode in her face. However, it looked like the couple- monster and damsel, grew into a group. Maybe this was a suave monster. Oh! Look at that? Doesn't he just have all the moves? Heh apparently not.
Maxi smirked at the fight and then flight of the creature, but sighed as she loaded her gun. It was un-needed. For now.
Clicking on the safety, she slipped it into her coveralls, then picked up a shovel. Those things ate bullets like no tomorrow. She had to get up in their face to use it effectively. And stunning them with a shovel worked... sometimes. Hopefully they wouldn't come in contact with another anytime soon.
Walking out of her building she took a swift look about and strode purposefully over to the group of women. "Hey, Chikaa-Ahhs!" Maxi dropped her shovel as the damsel seemed to tilt- almost falling to the ground. She lurched to help, and caught the girl before she was hurt on the pavement. The damsel looked a bit dazed. "Maybe you should stay here. I have a friend who will watch over you who is not particularly keen on going out and kicking some alien tail."
Helping the woman up, Maxi walked her over to the building where a shorter woman in a leotard waited for her. "Hey Oxi, look after this little bird for me, eh? She won't give you no trouble. Far easier to deal with than me, I'm sure." The woman smiled and chuckled, replacing Maxi with helping the young woman walk further into the building.
Maxi trotted back to the other girls. "We have a sort of safe house. She should be fine for the time being. Mind if I take her place?"

Revanna nodded, somewhat surprised by Maxi's appearance and her revealing there were safehouses. "I hope you have enough security forces for the safehouses. They might be safe now, but once the fights aboveground are over, these creatures will definately search more thoroughly for survivors." she said. Looking around, there was no immediate enemy appearance, in sight at least.
She quickly closed her eyes and used her magic to contact her superiors.
"Commander Isa, I have found some survivors and bring word that more have been sheltered."
"Very good, Electus. Very good. Continue your search, more may be hiding and the threat has not yet been cleansed." the elegant voice of Isa, the angel that led the Cii'va replied.
"Thank you, Sanctum Isa. I will continue the cleansing."
She opened her eyes again and looked at the others. "We stick together?"
She quickly closed her eyes and used her magic to contact her superiors.
"Commander Isa, I have found some survivors and bring word that more have been sheltered."

Wren nodded in welcome to the newcomer, "There's usually safety in numbers, and I'll be glad of the help." She sighed and holstered her, "You wouldn't happen to have a radio, or any military personnel in that safe house of your's, would you? I'm a pilot in the British Royal Air Force, but I've not been able to contact anyone since the aliens hit. They've probably already hit London, and I wouldn't be surprised to find out that the MoD's gone." She shook her head, "I've been trying to get to the nearest military base, but if these aliens follow any kind of military doctrine, that'd probably have been the first place they hit."
Maxi reached up to muss her pixie cut hair and give a lopsided smile. "Its just a temporary safehouse. I need a few more supplies to fix up the one that I think will work far better. It is bigger and will have better security. Hopefully last out far longer against those red brutes than just regular doors."
With a shrug she turned her attention from one woman to another. "Military personnel? Not that I know of... but we do have a working radio, and even some long distance walkie-talkies. Kono arrived on one of the motherships close by. He angrily charged in, passing all of the other aliens around him towards the boss. Who was sitting on the throne. "What the hell was that about!? I almost had them! I could of taken care of them!" He shouted angrily up at the alien on the throne.
Suddenly he felt a pain in his mind, hands, and heart. He held onto his body with his arms around it. He slowly started to fall to his knees as he tried his best not to scream out in pain.
"Do not order me or boss me around, Kono!" The alien on the throne said as he slowly stood up. "We created you and we can easily destroy you! Your job is only to find people! That is all! YOU UNDERSTAND!!" The alien screams out angrily as more pain rushes through Kono's body.
"YES, SIR!" Kono shouted in pain but just as he said those two words the pain had disappeared. He breathed out heavily several times and glared up at the alien on the throne.
"Now, our people have seen some survivors are close to our location. I want you to tag them and bring them to us! Is that understood?!" The alien boss eyes glowed red as he glared down at Kono.
"Yes, Sir.." He stands up and turns leaving the boss and his second-in-command in the throne room alone.
"Are you sure this is wise, M'lord?" The Second-in-Command asks the alien boss, watching Kono leave. "He is only the first test subject to go out like this. We can't risk those humans getting their hands on him!"
"Shut up!" The alien boss glares down at the second-in-command. "He will do this or we'll find someone else to replace him!"
-Meanwhile on Planet Earth-
Kono arrived at the spot where it was said survivors were there. He stood on the roof top, glaring down at the escort mission by the military people. "It had to be the stupid human military." He shook his head as he raises his hands upward towards the trees near by. "Its just time for them to stop escorting and start dying." Just as he raised his hands the tree branches started to come to life. One of the closes trees to two of the men got picked up by their arms and thrown away from the group.
The men started to shout to the survivors to get out of here, but just as the humans tried to leave a big branch like hand just went down upon the survivors and caged them inside.
"I will deal with you people later." He commented from his spot on the roof top.

I'll go see if I can wrestle the radio off that Oxi woman then, see if I can find out what happened back home... though if these aliens use anything resembling conventional tactics, I expect they bombed the MoD from orbit, might have hit Downing Street too... Still, if us Brits are anything then we're stubborn, so long as we've got a good supply of tea we'll be fine." She sighed wistfully, "I haven't had a decent cup of tea for ages. No one around here knows how to make a proper cup of tea, and now these damned aliens have hit us I don't think I'm likely to find any any time soon."
Pulling away from the other two, she headed over to the 'safehouse' to try and retrieve the radio. With any luck, she'd be able to contact some one in some military force somewhere. At this point she didn't care if she ended up answering to the Yanks, the Scots or even the Irish, so long as she knew what the hell was going on.

I know my girl's a British fighter pilot, but she could be posted anywhere at all, and since she was off-duty when the aliens hit, she might even be on holiday somewhere. These kind of things are usually set in America, so that's the assumption I've been working under, but I want to just ask where we all are?)
