For nearly 300 years, the realm had been at peace from the major threat of demons. Arnzarel, the Revolting One, a mighty demon prince who once ravaged the land and terrorized mortals, was sealed inside of a book along with his daughter Lilian. However, now it seems mortal curiosity hath foolishly lead to the unleashing of the daughter of Arnzarel. Now Lilian the Devil Dancer is free from the enchanted pages of her tome prison. She seeks only two things, to free her father and to allow him to once again ravage and corrupt the mortal world once more.

A book has been found, an old text which much wording seems archaic and unreadable. This book appeared to be found in a hidden chamber in what was once an well guarded citadel. However, upon being looted it appears virtually worthless to the average thief. Yet, the book could not be burned and even submerged in water it's pages appeared to withstand water. You come across this book with a party of fortune seekers. At first you think nothing of this text until you discover that it cannot be destroyed. Also around anyone who opens it, it unleashes an aura that seems to call upon the reader to attempt to decipher said text for the allure of knowledge.

((So, where do I start? In the ruins or whatever or in a nearby twon?))
I was thinking ruins, unless the book was brought to a town.)

He was in the ruins, looking around for any loot or such he could find. "This place is... weird." He grinned, rubbing his hands together. "Hey, more stuff for me!"
The ruins looked abandoned and unguarded. Better yet, it looks like most travelers have forgone even trying to look said ruins as what all that looked of marketable value had been obtained already. Nay, this place was not of riches and treasure that the normal thief or tomb raider would be interested in. However, there was the allure of knowledge. The ruins were once an heavily guarded keep which held knowledge that was not meant for mortal souls. Yet the guardians of this place have all withered away, or so it seems. Still, there would potentially be something from within the confines of non-material value.
He continued to walk through, checking every room he found while tapping at the walls every few steps, looking for hidden rooms. "Seems kind of... off, though. Like something was trapped here."
The person may then find something. One of the stones in the wall began to shake into said construct. As if it were loose, could perhaps be age of the wall showing, a miscalculation on the mason of yore's part, or perhaps a hidden compartment. Either three were all very sound deductions.
He grinned, poking at the stones near the one that moved. "Wonder what's in here..." He chuckled, hoping for something expensive.
The stone easily was able to come out, as well as another. Eventually what would be found in the confines of this hidden cache was a simple book covered in dust and dirt, yet from the looks of it the pages look in pristine shape and as if it was printed about a week ago. Still, the tome had all sorts of debris on it indicating age. There was also lettering n the book, yet it appeared in some sort of archaic dialect that to the finder wouldn't even warrant enough to be considered gibberish.
He grabbed the book, looking to see if there was anything else in the small room. "That's it?" He frowned, flipping through the book.
Despite being the only odd thing around, the pages seemed in perfect condition, even more. There was something in the book that was striking about it as bizarre. As the individual moved through the pages he would have a bizarre mixture of a slight migraine as he tried to decipher the odd text, and yet there would be almost an addictive sense to discover just what the letters mean. It was as if the book was calling for them to read and understand it. Yet, it also appeared in some illegible dialect.
He put the book in his bag, reminding himself to take a look at it later. He continued through the ruins, searching for anything else.
It then falls into his bag, sadly however there's not much else to find in the ruins after his eventual conclusion of his search. Whatever else was in the citadel of value has already been stolen. Still, the book would be intriguing, if of course he could find some way to translate and decipher it's odd text.
He sighed, heading out of the ruins and towards the nearest town in search of someone who could translate the text. He pulled a runestone out of a seperate bag and used it to increase his running speed, making it to the town in a matter of minutes.
