Amaya looked around." There's a coffee shop a block from here still open, I think." She shook her head, trying to stay awake
Should we go there?
"Yes and before I get hypothermia again."
He nodded
She walked toward the coffee shop, trying not to collapse since she couldn't feel her legs.
He went to the place.
Before entering, Amaya wrung her jacket out.
He entered the coffee shop.
She put her jacket on and followed
He looked around the room.
She sat at one of the booths and huddled against the wall, trying to warm up.
He sat there as well.
She smiled." A-almost like a d-date, huh?" She was trying to get him to laugh.
"Yeah, almost"
Amaya watched him." You don't really laugh, do you?"
"Because I don't often find reasons to" he replied
"It helps to smile sometimes especially when you feel down."
"I'm not feeling down though"
He looked around. His head started to hurt again, as it does every other day. "I'll be back" he said getting up and going to the bathroom.
