I found a neat little link on imgur that has plenty of things people can do online with their friends, which I'll happily share here with everyone else!
Netflix Party -- Host long distance Netflix movie nights with your besties.
Another good version of this that works as Rabbit did, if you're familiar with it (and it offers more options than just going to Netflix), is Kast! You can even watch random streams through this, too, if you'd like.

I want to add onto this--for artist friends in particular--Drawpile, a free program that lets you host boards for you and your friends to all scribble on. Think like old-school joint oekaki boards, but with much better tools, and layers. They're a lot of fun, and great for art-based RPing as well.
