She clicked her cheek with a pout "I will not serve him, taking my lunch" she stormed off into the back room

He started to reply to Drael, but his attention was drawn now to the overly chatty fox thingy in front of him

"Azumi, I need you to do an evil purge on the guest" he pointed at Tamaran

"I..I'm not evil" he takes a few hesitate steps back

"Hm?" Azumi tilted her head "I do sense some form of unholy energy emanating within his soul. I shall gladly purify him!"

Azumi muttered a few incantations then blasted a seemingly harmless beam of light at Tamaran, though she was concerned if this would hurt the poor soul, as long as she could help, that was all that mattered. That, and a new friend.

"no.no...wait wait...no! NO!" he tried to escape the beam but was caught by it. His body went ridged and the scars on his arms started to bulge like something was trying to get out, a lot of somethings roughly the size of small orange each. He opened his mouth but no sound came out, only a ghastly green and black fog

"That's a new one."

Azumi's eyed went wide and she began to panic, fretting over Tamaran. She immediately ceased casting the spell as soon as she saw what happened.

"Sweetie, oh no that wasn't supposed to do that!" She stammered.

"My goodness..." she said in shame "I humbly apologize do you need anything unholy to help heal you?!"

Unfortunately, the spell had already taken its toll, he collapsed into a heap, the scars on his arm now writhing, starting to stretch and tear at the skin, slowly they come to a stop but twitch now and then. But Tamaran remained unconscious now

Mathius watched it dissipate in the air. He carried Tamaran up into a room and put him on a bed. He went and picked Azumi up and put her in the papoose and petted her "don't worry. He's gonna wake up feeling like a billion dollars. He's up there having the best sleep of his life"

He may have looked like it, but his sleep was troubled by dark memories slipping through, but after a few hours, his sleep became more peaceful. He then slept for the rest of the day. Once awoken, he groggily wandered through the seemingly maze like halls of Trixie's

Theo suddenly crashes through the ceiling, his armour half-formed around him. "What the…that doesn't usually happen. The flight stabilizers failed to deploy."

Andrew landed next to Theo and his helmet opened "you just updated them..."

"Can't say I've had a problem like that with Barbatos..."

He rolled his eyes and mimicked Mikazuki

"Can't thay I had a probrem like dat wif Barbados nyeh nyeh nyeh nyeh"

"You kids play nice out there. Don't make me have Drael go get the belt"

He just raises an eyebrow, reaching into his pocket and doing what Mika is known for—pulling out snacks and snacking.

"I know, but I'm from a universe where everything had the worst possible outcome, so I'm used to things randomly going wrong. I once got beaten up by a pregnant She-Hulk, for crying out loud. There's nowhere to go but down after that."

The front door swings open, revealing a new comer. A tall lean figure topped off with messy jet black hair. His deep blue eyes swept the place until he found what he was looking for, a nice shadowy corner to brood in peace.
