"What in the Robocop type- You know what, I don't want to know."
"What are your thoughts on this, Brick?"
"Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down, never gonna run around and desert you!"
"Goddammit."

Something was off, Caelar picked up on it like a bloodhound to a scent and his gaze instantly turned to Aleksandr as it shifted from Ami. Aleksandr issued a subtle nod, prompting the Arbitrator to shift his hand away from the shock baton on his hip, his bolt revolver having been deposited at the receptacle to abide by the rules, nevertheless some modicum of self-security was maintained especially since this tabernaculum catered to all, while it was more refined than underhive dens of iniquity, in Vane's line of work you could never let your guard down, even The Lord General's seeming approval didn't seem to change much, he kept everything on a need to know basis unless required otherwise.
Ami's mannerisms being so distinct from others in the universe, were quickly picked up by the Arbitrator, who was trained to identify discrepancies for the purposes of interrogation. It made him scowl some but then perhaps wasn't entirely fond of the Sisters of Battle to begin with, the impression of him was definitely something of a vigilant loose cannon, he was a rugged, no non-sense cop at heart, their universe's equivalent of a SWAT officer specialized in tactics and combat concerning the environment of hive complexes, often without enjoying the luxury of support so commonly afforded to the astra militarum and contemporaries, in the underhive you were on your own and underappreciated.
" You tell me... Sister... what news of the battlefield? I get what I need to know from the auspex and the vox-caster... perhaps something else has been divinated at one of your shrines that I am woefully unaware of, as I said before, my jurisdiction pertains to the hive where the enemy is far less evident and wherein I prefer operating alone unless I am sure there will be no liabilities. " He added downing his drink with a bitter groan.
Aleksandr seemed to issue a look of displeasure, " Go easy on Arpatia Vane, she has proven herself in the field of battle and to me several times " Vane issued a glance to the Lord General and nodded albeit dismissively.
" Trust in anything other than the Emperor and A Weapon is the final deed of a fool and the first one of a corpse, your grace. " Vane added.
Aleksandr's face turned red with certain fury,
"I will have my rank from you ! I was able to overlook your rumors pertaining to outbursts but I will not tolerate the slander and belittling of my staff and certainly not a member of the Adepta Sororitas !"
Vane issued a sinister grin
"Great men such as yourself draw rumors as shite draws flies, Lord General"
Aleksandr's fury furthered.
"YOU ARE THE SHITE VANE, AND THE FLIES UPON IT ! Remember your place lest your pride damn you to oblivion, come Arpatia, we will have our recaf elsewhere"

She felt something she knew before she shifted to Aleksandr's realm as she held a device in her hand to produce a portal that opened up to her old reality. Seeing a familiar woman, she pulled her into the tavern as she said, "Yen...It's nice to see you again," she said as she sat there waiting for a response from her old friend.

Yennefer runs, narrowly escaping a large armored roach, a Krallach. She creates a swirling, fluid portal. As she steps in, her destination is to be Aretuza. Instead, she hears Ami's voice and lands in another dimension.
The Violet Mage runs into the bar counter, "Ami! Where have you brought me?!" She brushes down her gown and dries the fabric.
"Trixie's?" Her brow lifts to read, and eyes on Ami, "I was on my way to Aretuza, my sister. I am sure you have a good reason for this." Yennefer leans back against the counter and notices many patrons mingling about, and she can feel it's time for a drink.

"Brick, get the popcorn. This is getting juicy."
"...Alas, this place will never make much sense to me, but I suppose it can't be helped."
"I suppose it's just a common feeling, Lockon Stratos."

I bid you welcome, friend of Sister Arpatia, drinks and confection courtesy of the Lord General. A friend of Ami's is a friend of the Imperium.
"Mrrrf!" [amusement]

The Violet Mage turns towards the voice of a decorated imperial, takes one step closer, and gives him a courteous smile. She introduces herself, "Yennefer of Vengerberg, pleased." Her eyes wash over the medals so purposefully displayed.
"I thank you for the invitation and this warm welcome. I must admit, it was a surprise. This is my first encounter in Trixie's...Bar." Her eyes wander the premises, and she says, "It's quaint."
Her violet eyes meet his. "And you are...?" Her lips curve a soft smile.
Lord General Aleksandr Von Drakenfell of The Astra Militarum Battlegroup Arpat, A Pleasure, Yennefer of Vengerburg... yes.. quaint, i'm afraid that just only scratches the surface, but we make do in our own way, such is the nature of multiverses. The auspicious host proper of this establishment is Mathius, while there is a variety of strange denizens about I can assure you the grub and drink are quite up to par.
"If nothing else, General, you could be considered an odd denizen yourself. Just something to think about." So said Missouri, in her casual clothes and glasses, simply drawing up something or another on a small notepad.
" You know coming from the anthropomorphic representation of an inanimate warship, the only thing it makes me think about is what even passes for an odd denizen over here, I'll embrace it, we are all odd and wonderful in our own ways "
"I'm sure it doesn't help much, but I'm also technically a movie star. Funny how things work."

"Lord General, it's an honor. I counseled King Aedirn as his High Mage. I have left that position for a bigger adventure. It's been a long day, and my quest at home has come to an end, for now. I am sure Ami will share her reasons for calling me here."
She winks at Ami, and her focus shifts to the bar counter. "I will explore your various appetites, and I promise to be aware of all the strange denizens." Yennefer feels her hunger growing, not wishing to intrude on the Lord General's time in case he has important matters to discuss with Ami. "I will be visiting for a few days, unless Ami has grander plans for us." Yennefer interacts with the barmaid; she orders wine and meat and waits.
He came out with a pot roast and a Pinot Noir for Yennifer "house special"
He stepped inside covered in scorch marks and the blood and fragments of Xeno entrails. His eyes seemed as if they were coming back from being feral and regaining his humanity. He deposited his power axe and bolter rifle into the weapons box and issued Drael
"Brother Drael!" He joked lightheartedly before he stepped outside to clean the blood off of his armor. Once back inside he looked towards Mathius "Good Mathius, please indulge me in some Fenrisian Ale..."

"I'm back with the popcorn!"
"Brick, it's been nearly two hours. Also, that's a ball of yarn, not popcorn."
"Oops."

Vane's response was to-the-point and still, with a cold sort of discipline, the red visor glow upon her as if he was discerning her as much as she was studying him, she followed with a question, and for a moment there was a discomforting silence that held between the two, before Vane spoke.
"There is a strange honesty in a battlefield. You know who to shoot. In the Hive, everyone wears the same skin. Excising the enemy within requires a different kind of disposition, one that understands the law does not discriminate when a genestealer wears the mask of a child, when a hive scummer peddles critical information to xenos agents for a few thrones and a hot meal, when the hivelord sits content upon his pedestal convinced the law has turned the blind eye owing to his generosity. It is the Emperor's law which is the final verdict to the enemies of man which dwell within and not beyond our holds. I am an Arbitrator, I am what the Emperor delivers when the stench of corruption becomes intolerable and cannot be excised through conventional means, I am his Judgement made manifest... that is why I am here."

Dead or Alive, They're Coming With Me
"That is great. We do need more in the fold. And to know the Lord General trusts you is definitely what makes me trust you as well. What say has so far happened on the battlefield? Any heretics needing smite? Perhaps some time I could join you, Vane," she said coldly back as she took another drink of the scotch. It was as though he knew them all. But obviously how he said it was due to Aleksandr briefing him on them all. She was okay with that because she, too, would love to know someone before even coming into a establishment such as this one. She had definitely not seen what he looked like until now. Just a average human, but obviously he had the skills to fight off anything.
"Mathius, I would love some recaf," she called out when Vane declined it. She did love some coffee, or what they would call recaf there where they come from. But originally she was not from there until now.
He made up the carafe of Recaf for her and Vane.
He then tossed a stack of deer crackers into the air. He was tempted to toss some tofu. Maybe then Azumi would return and give Ami, Vane, and Aleksandr the official welcome.
As soon as the deer crackers left Mathius's hand, an ominous rumbling could be heard from somewhere beneath the bar. Without warning, Nokotan blasts up out of the ground and grabs the deer crackers in her mouth. She then drops back to the ground, her cheeks bulging like a hamster. "Thankff for thoff, Maffiuth!" She mumbles, before comically gulping down the entire mouthful of deer crackers.
