((Did you decline the request? I was hoping they would get along together!))
"If I desired an entourage of mutants and lunatics, I would have become an Inquisitor."
"Again with the rude remarks!" he said as he looked at Harkoth. "Definitely not a way to greet a stranger," he exclaimed as he shook his head with some sadness to his face. "I guess this is a no," he said as he turned his back on the other.
"Rude? [binharic squawk] I merely state a fact."
"Facts hurt," he said as he had his back to Harkoth. "And I am most definitely neither of those things. We can't be enemies. I do not desire enemies..." he said coldly as he kept his back turned. He was the type that would rather have less conflict then more conflict.
Xueqing froze herself. Literally.
Nothing wrong here, she's resistant to her own Ice Shock.

Damien ignored the young girl all together due to his lack of caring for children. He rather leave them be. His issue are adults. Being a vampire also brought forth bad names and mistrust due to what he was.
"Not every day you see a pink-eyes." She raised a brow, clearly not opposed to using slurs for vampires in her world, drinking vodka, as one does. "Or someone who freezes themselves."
He looked at Nova as he wasn't sure what to think about them. "Wait, pink-eyes? I have green eyes, thank you very much," he said. "Or are we talking about you?" he asked as he turned to look at them.
"I have silver eyes, thank you." Still, though, she didn't seem to be too bothered. "Pink-eyes is a common slur for people like you where I'm from."
"Silver eyes....Interesting. And I don't have pink-eyes," he said as though feeling offended. "But whatever you desire to say, I shouldn't feel offended." He looked at her, his pale green eyes shimmering as he simply stood up and walked to her. "So, do you fear vampires?" he asked as he shook his head. "No need to fear me. I am far too old to have that blood lust like a youngling would have."
"No, I don't fear your kind."
"Good. Don't. I am not that type of vampire. Some think of me as being an annoyance. Do you?" he asked with a serious look on his face. "Or would you rather be friends with a vampire noble? I would make sure that I would be of good use," he said calmly with a gentlemen's bow.
"Friends with me? You sure don't pick good friends. I'm just a cold, walking disaster." which is true, her body temperature is basically well beyond hypothermic temperatures and touching her skin causes extreme frostbite
"Then I wouldn't touch you. We wouldn't want to have me have frostbite," he said as he took another bow. "So?"
((Xueqing is insensitive to temperatures below 5250K lol, she's of blue giant star kin (I should have elaborated more about starlings in my lore)))
((It's all good.))
"Quite an...unusual crowd."
"Speak for yourself, chocolate man."
The ice on the girl's skin surface melted, and she looked at Nova with curiosity.
((She retains her human sense of temperature, but her body is basically invulnerable to below 6000K environment/temp spike))
