"Ahahahahahaa~~ Who wants to see more magic tricks?" She says with a slur while she waves her finger around, tracing a spiral and stars pour out of the spiral, little stars that float out across the ceiling and make the overhead of the tavern look like a night sky~

The witch appeared on a barstool near Blaze. "Hey there handsome~ got any scotch?" She leaned an elbow on the counter with her hand on her chin, peering into him. Her voice sounded rather squeaky~ and a little deviant. "How long ya been working here sweetie?"
He was startled to find her suddenly beside him, as if she had appeared out of nowhere. "Yeah...I have some scotch," he said, taking out a bottle, opening it, and pouring some into a crystal glass. A blush crept onto his cheeks from her comment as he reflected on how long he had been working for Mathius. "Long enough, I suppose," he replied, holding her gaze steadily.

What matters most is duty to the Emperor, Harkoth. Knowledge itself wields power but its acquisition is fraught with treachery and danger for there are those who would sell their souls cheaply to the ruinous powers for knowledge. Knowledge is Power and Power must be wielded responsibly and with discretion.
