He noticed Shade then looked between him and Lee, then got up and sat between them, being a bit of silent protection, not trusting the vampire.

he just raised a brow but he really didn't care and just sat silent

The creature lowered his head a bit and put a hand up. "Don't worry, i-i won't do anything to you..." he said, surprisingly gently.
"i have no intention of needlessly inflicting harm on you"
"Ah, I-I'm sorry, then..." it said and looked down.
"Oh wow, it's so cute!" Nicki pets the gentle creature.

He jumped and looked down at her. "Ah, t-thank you..." he said, a bit surprised.
Alex looked at the creature before floating over to it "hello animal, how have you aquired the ability of speech?"
He then looked up and her. "A-ah, I don't know... I remember always being able to." He licked his teeth a bit like a nervous dog.
