Mari hummed softly as her bare feet padded against the bar floor, as unsanitary as it might've seemed to some, it didn't bother her much. It was natural for how she grew up. Her eyes scanned the establishment and those who resided within before making her way to the counter in a rather casual manner.
his swords were propped up in there sheaths beside him as he read his book sipping on his tea
Just as Kagami wouldn't scratch his suit, he would have his hand up pointed directly at her sternum. Just as he heard the first screech of the metal being cut, he had already been in motion and fired an armor-piercing tracer explosive round directly into her chest. Given the distance between his hand and her sternum which was barely centimeters at best, she would have to move away faster than the speed if sound as well as cover a distance of over 2,000 yards. He may be a man-child prankster, but he was by no means simple-minded.
"Sorta busy fighting here. I really can't discuss family issues. Sit tight" he quipped
"Oh you have got to be kidding me. Rhodey has a kid as well, and said kid is a total brat? I'm not dealing with this." Theo rolled his eyes in irritation.
Hearing Theo's words made all of the playfulness in him suddenly and without warning die momentarily. His head whipped into Theo's direction and he snapped "yeah. And I'm not the one sulking around, now am I? You're not the one who was born to two crack addicts who spent the first three years of his life completely disadvantaged, are you?" he spat with all the vitriol he could muster. Most of what he said came from a place of hurt.
She had ordered a drink, something called a Long Island Iced Tea, but it definitely tasted good. She hummed, sipping quietly as she listened to the others argue.
"Interesting." She mused.
"Interesting." She mused.
Azumi and her son, Ren, returned to the bar. They were both astonished to see Theo back. Azumi, in particular, ran towards him and sobbed.
"I-i'm sorry... I couldn't do anything!", She cried. Ren stood there awkwardly, unable to decide what to do or say.

Theo hugged Azumi. "It's okay. Shade fixed it, so it never happened."
"And I'll talk to you when you aren't a self-important asshat. That means this is the last time we speak. To hell you, Theo" Drew said flatly. He said it devoid of any connection or emotion as if he were giving a stranger a set of directions. He left.
"What a jerk."
The doctor let out an exasperated sigh seeing Theo and Andrew's interaction. "There is a reason your colleague acts in that fashion. As he said, his parents smoked crack cocaine throughout his mother's pregnancy. I assume they were heavy users because it's obvious he suffered from substance abuse detoxification at a young age and that likely accounts for the zany behavior and how he was able to flip his demeanor the way he did" he spoke as he took a sip of his scotch.
"Colleague is a rather strong word. I just met the guy, so I wouldn't consider him a colleague of mine. Besides, I prefer to work alone since the Avengers haven't been returning my calls."
"Avengers?" he perked a brow and shifted his glasses
"Superhero team that my dad was a key member of." Theo answered as he opened a can of diet ginger ale and poured it into a glass for himself. "'Earth's Mightiest Heroes', and so forth. They officially disbanded after the second battle with Thanos, and I've been trying to contact the members who aren't retired or dead to see if they want to get the band back together. I feel it's what my dad would have wanted, with me having inherited his role as the superhero Iron Man."
